Yeah, even though the old EU was a big part of what made Star Wars what it was, it was also a bit of a mixed bag, messy, convoluted and the uneven product of hundreds of different people with different visions and takes on Star Wars. Disney, however, have really come full circle after getting rid of it, and kept going about half a dozen laps more 😛

@@gamingreacts8787 No actually. Vader does not win. If he would have never had that battle with kenobi. In the beginning. He might have had the opportunity to surpass Luke in any form of Cannon. But he didn't. Luke however. Literally became one with the force. Essentially becoming a force ghost. Without dying. To this day there has never been a more powerful character within the Star Wars universe then Luke motherfluffin Skywalker. It is for this reason the emperor wants to replace Vader with Luke. Because he has foreseen this power in Luke's future. Which is one of the things that blinded him from seeing his own death at the hands of Vader.

@@I86282 None of what you mentioned matters, Luke here is an untrained Padawan he has not learned enough about the force to even be close, Vader has always been the BEST star pilot in the galaxy and it's proven true every time Vader enters his star fighter. Vader is also far stronger in the force and far more skilled than Luke, Vader is also a far better duelist in every way except raw speed because of his heavy suit. Sure Luke will become far more powerful and will be the most powerful character that has ever existed in star wars, (except force entities and force wounds) but he only became that powerful after the Empire fell and both Vader and Palpatine died, and after years of training and using old Jedi artifacts to find the knowledge Vader was already long dead.

@@Uknowjusticemill Yes because making one of the most loved characters in All Star Wars. look like an incompetent and incapable "Nerf Herder" is real indicative of the established Cannon for that character. Sure yeah it doesn't "Matter" at all.! Of course Luke should be no match for Darth Vader at this point. But he's not being beaten by Vader. He's being beaten by his own ineptitude here. Whoever wrote this comic has no real grasp or understanding of the Star Wars mythos. And Disney May own the rights to Star Wars and can abuse it however they wish. But we the real fans are the ones who continue to breathe life into the Star Wars universe. So all of Disney's efforts to destroy it. Is what does not "Matter".! And soon enough. If Disney is smart. This will all be decannonized anyway. Rendering this Comic moot. So it's the thing that won't "Matter"!
