Putting my hat in the ring and suggesting a Cyclone CwC setup with Arakaali's! CwC fixes a lot of annoyances that were mentioned: - Spamming Desecrate removes the worries of Asenath's Gentle Touch eating up all the corpses for 'autosummoning' - Much better health regen with Life Gain on Hit support - More room for auras (like Tempest Shield if going block) because you apply both curses on hit (which you can do with Whirling Blades, but cyclone has a more consistent AoE) Of course, you do lose some mobility if opting out of Whirling Blades and going The Stampede, but the added regen feels really nice. My build takes a different path with about ~40M DPS but has max attack/spell block for 3x EHP. Arakaali's Fang is such a flexible endgame build. I've drawn some inspiration from your build Palsteron - thanks again for the quality content!

Do you selfcast offering or include it in the cwc setup? Because iirc you cant fit all of them in any 4-link setup. And if you slot them in the body armor slot you're gonna lose some mana reservation for enlighten no?

@@ucnguyentien6553 the CwC setup is in the armor, no enlighten needed. You’re able to have a free 50% aura thru Aul’s Uprising. I run 3 50% auras (Determination, Malevolence, Purity of Elements), Tempest Shield for 25%, and Defiance Banner for 10%. You can easily hit 35% inc mana res efficiency just thru the tree cluster + mastery in the top left

I have about 100 ex lying around after selling my build. I'm really tempted to buy the shield but then i'd be nearly dry on currency and don't want to be stuck. How much more would i need to be able to put it in a playable state?

@@ShadeAKAhayate Yeah, in the end i bought the shield and tried to make the build work with the 20 ex i had left. It does work, but it's awful. You NEED the cluster jewels and considering they go for 10ex just the base, yeah, you need at least 100ex more to buy/craft everything to make the build feel good and not have 3k hp. No regrets, bought the shield for 115 ex and sold it for 125 so profit. I just bought an HH for 100 ex and made an MFer. I need more money.

@@skillfulactor09 Nah I'm focusing on mapping and running T16 to scourge white maps. I'm about 7ex invested (lvl 91) and bossing is the only tedious aspect of the build. It can get the job done, but slowly, which is okay because the armor and block is so high. On single boss fights you just mark the boss and run around until it's time to respawn spiders. I've had to use my bane occultist to down multi-boss Mavens, because summoning spiders is hard with a lot of ground effects going off and no adds (even with the gloves). Mapping and delving (not deep yet) have been cake. It's too bad there's no advantage in scourging red maps, because CI guardian has no problem with them.

If you desecrate then worm flask on it you can get a max 20 spider spawn with 2 desecrates, and 1 flask charge from worms! This does require occultist pop though.

Very nice guide, it helped me a lot getting started with this build. One occasional problem for me however is "no mana regeneration" modifiers on maps, those can make it very difficult to re-summon your spiders if you have any amount of downtime

One rolling the cluster jewels; it can be much easier to get a low tier version of each of the mods you want then harvest re-roll same mods more likely. (I don't know if this harvest craft will still be accessible in 3.19 due to harvest changes). If you can do this, it essentially is a 1/10 ish chance of going from any tier of %inc effect+attack speed to the top tiers for both. Bonus you can get other low tier versions of good mods with the important ones and hope for them to go high tier as well. Jewels with these mods only really cost about as much as the bases.

i just put CWDT molten shell to give me that extra layer of damage protection. Low level CWDT that is, I think my cwdt is level 2 and molten shell is level 10. Still getting 10,000 damage shield when it procs. And i have vaal MS as active gem in other gear piece, they do not conflict with eachother.

Great build, one of the few summoners that I have not played. I have one question/concern: Spiders are summoned for about 50 seconds. This 50 second timer does not seem to overwrite when more are summoned (unlike all other summons). This results in loosing about 18 spiders (average initial summon).all at once. While this is a minor thing, I was wondering if anyone had any work around solutions. I am currently using Gravebind and Corpse walk boots, but it still happens. I have been waiting for them to de-spawn before bosses. Other than that one issue, it's a great build. For those wondering about divergent melee splash, it does double your boss DPS (I was skeptical).

Looks really fun. Such big hurdles tho, (and multiples of them). Not even talking about The Squirrel (shits nuts), those cluser's do not look fun to craft(x2-x4), Ghastly Jewels, (x4-x5), Divergent Melee Splash, the amy, etc. If I get lucky with the drops tho you bet I'm still doing it.

BTW, I definitely believe you can put march of the legion in the boots slot, you can put determination, malevolence, grace and purity of ailments there. It will definitely be a bit more uncomforatable for your hand, but I think the build will become impportal

Hey. Great guide. Although there seem to be a slip in the video around where you go through helmet gem setup. Also, is there a reason you dont run 3x Renewal on your clusters? (Think renewal 5% chance for double damage, stacks up to 3 times) Also, why not run Rotten claws for Impale? Also. I cant figure what Whirling Blades is for. Is it just for movement? Used because it has no re-use time? Also. Since you have a free gem slot in your boots, what do you think about moving convocation there and then put Fortify in gloves?

yea but don't follow it 1:1 cause was already played by many simulacrum farmers and now people are flipping like crazy and prices are super high. Imho you should start with a tree with a single cluster, go necro aegis with qotra regulator, which costs like 5C and is a 30% damage boost for the spiders. Yea you will have to manually cast a mark for frenzy charges and make some other minor changes but you should be able to easily farm upto like wave 25 of simulacrum. Instead of investing everything save some ex and buy simulacrums or run giga juiced maps, 8 - 10 milion damage is more than enough to farm everything in the game and make tons of money.

@@maximilienbrusalbs3932 i mean, you can run 10p or 11p clusters without hyper optimal rolls, they will cost a tiny fraction of a well rolled 12p ones and will not make that much of a difference tbh. most items in poe value rolls too much. An item that is just a tiny bit better than your currently worn item might be 5-10 times more expensive.

@@alewis514 that's why i told him to not copy 1:1 the build. regarding the clusters well yes, you can easily switch to clusters around 2-4 ex each and lose 5 - 6 millions dps. which frankly is a considerable amount, but still you can complete easily almost everything in the game

Pretty much, and recovery on gear + the little bit of ES w/that keystone he was talking about. Most minion builds are squishier like that. I think it's a healthy downside for minion builds tho cuz it kinda balances out the, "I don't do my own dmg so I have all this extra time to play safer." Otherwise, minion buids would be too OP, and they still are, sometimes.

Why do we use anomalous withering touch? After some POB investigation it makes the skill effect duration 9.702s to 11.946s from base 8s. However, the POB still states that the poison lasts 8s/0.81 for 9.88s of total poison duration. Is POB bugged?

Great guide! I'm thinking of switching over from Von Vikton's Arakaali's Spiders, which uses March of the Legion to get 4 "reservation-free" auras, to this one. Before I do, can I check if this build can recover in a simulacrum from a death with monsters near the entrance portal? I'm finding with Von Vikton's build the map is bricked as a result of not being able to bring spiders back online before dying. (I'm running with The Squire)

The problem is that 1) With the gloves your minions do not get the kill credit, 2) Even if you didn't run the gloves each of your 20 spiders would have to have seperate kills to trigger each of those, so it's overall just incredibly inconsistant and never really up

I recently leveled as a standard minion build... Summon Racing spirit + summon phantasm helps a lot I focused first on live passives in the first tree area, then went to Righteous Army and Reservation Mastery, then went back to getting all Life nodes It was a very smooth leveling

Are there any concerns swapping around the glove curse and skill gem curse? IE "Curse Enemies with Temporal Chains on Hit" on the Gravebind Gauntlets and a despair skill. As of writing gloves with temp chains is 3-8ex vs. despair being 30+ ex. Cheers
