Another tip for enchanting selecting the "No Change, Materials won't be refunded" option will make the next enchant cost less gold than if you picked a new stat for that item. Good if you know exactly what stat you are looking for.

One thing though, if you vendor an item with gems, it won't remove them - unlike when you salvage an item with gems, it will remove them.

Small thing you probably misspoke on. You mention at 13:30 that you can vendor socketed items to get them back. You have to salvage them, vendoring them just sells the item with the gem inside of it. Love the video either way

You don't have to salvage them dude. You can go to a Jeweler and unsocket the Gems without dismantling the item itself.

a little helpful tip to identify what your roll is on your item. go to settings and look for advanced tooltips and enable. this will show you the ranges of the rolls you have on your items

For your stat re-roll section you should mention cost of re-roll depends somewhat depends on item level, upgrade status and rarity. Hence you should always re-roll an item before upgrading it and especially before putting any legendary aspects on rare items. in stat tier list i would add attack speed in probably second or 3rd row. Higher depending if you have great resource generation. There is also skill cost reduction which is quite important depending on your build (probably 3rd or 4th row). Probably good to highlight that damage with, or damage too, etc are all the same stat bucket bucket. this means for all damage stats you should just go for highest value. it does not matter if it is damage to close, or damage with a particular element, or damage to enemies with a particular status effect as long as you regularly are meeting the requirement with your build.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but around 22:37 Pal mentioned that the flat life on items is also increased by all the increased max life you have. I believe that's not true. Pretty sure it stays as a flat amount and does not get affected by increases. You can see this by making sure there isn't a gem in the item and just equipping the item and see how much your life goes up. Just wanted to give a quick heads up. Awesome video though!

One thing to mention when you find a rare (yellow) piece of gear that you can use is to make it legendary as the last thing you do. Reroll and enchant it first. Tweaking a legendary item costs more.

If you upgrade rares before imprinting to legendary, you'll get a weaker item after the upgrading. You want to save upgrading until after it's a legendary.

One thing you didn't go over. For upgrading gear, you can only upgrade to 5 if the item is sacred or ancestral. If you get a normal rare, and use a sacred legendary aspect on it, it will turn the item sacred and then can get upgraded to level 5. Also if you have a rare that is sacred or ancestral and add a normal legendary aspect to it, it still retains it's sacred/ancestral. So don't just toss out rare's if they arn't sacred/ancestral, and also don't just toss out aspects that are normal, cause you can "upgrade" them to that by mixing them together.

@@shadyshane8125 What he asked was if we can add another aspect on a piece of equipment that already has an aspect. You can, you can put unlimited amounts of new aspects on your gear but it will remove the last aspect, you can only have one at a time. But you can for example have a mediocre roll of an aspect temporarily until you find a better one. Generally you should always try to use aspects from gear that you've removed it from not the codex, not only is codex less powerful it costs a lot more.

So true. 1st diablo game ever (hard to admit and believe) but I've been on WoW since it came out. I am dmg dmg dmg dmg F defense. I played a rogue and made a rogue. Elias was nearly 1 shotting me. I finally swapped to proper defensive aspects finally and the entire game changed. 95 atm and can fly through 50+ NMs. Also have 10.5k hp with very lucky ring rerolls. Allthough, Occultist seems to be bugged and only wants to reroll my weapons/crossbow Dex every single time and it's so frustrating. I try to utilize damage reduction and max life on every piece possible, chest and legs are pure defensive stats and aspects, helm defensive aspect as well. Penitent greaves are just amazing for a lot of things. Shadowstep aspect on neck for another stun or unstoppable. Rogue is amazing, I fell in love w/ diablo and can't stop playing.

flat life on gear doesnt get increased by most forms of %life in this game(thats the reason %life on the tree is generally pretty bad same reason temerity sucks lategame it only scales on base life), also items can divine orb if you roll past the item breakpoints. (for example i had a pair of gloves with minium crit at 720~ and rerolled them to 725 and to my excitement they ended up with nearly max roll crit, its an extra edge to keep in mind for gearing although not too important as gear is pretty plentiful in general) small edit: i enjoyed the info and as a player of 200+ hours i promise this info will help a lot of people!

Max life gems dont take into account extra sources of life, like your equipment stats, so they are pretty damn bad. Just get damage reduction while impaired, in the rest of cases is just a skill gap hehe. Great vid!

You made me remember to check my lucky hit chance. Turns out the three passives points I thought are useful, only proc with a 6% chance (lucky hit and proc chance) in a 15s rotation. Soooo for now I'll see if I can drop them, until I have enough lucky hit to get them more than once in a blue moon.

What im understanding now that i just hit 50 and almost ready for world 3 is that item level and rolls really make the smallest changes to your build. Its ALL about the right aspects to make your build shine. Ive been using legendary gear thats hundreds of item level points and armor/damage points lower, but because ive imprinted the right aspects on them im doing SILLY damage with them still. Just my two cents.

I'm not sure if I'm correct if it works like Diablo 3 or not but you could reroll an affix to get a higher roll within it's range by enchanting it at the occultist. Granted that's very expensive from what I gather and it's up to rng from what you get to choose from but it is possible.

For the level 70 capstone I struggled with the boss, but one fire resist potion and it was easy mode. I wouldn't say resist on gear is useless unless you just want to rely on resist potions and exclude others.

especially for druid i found myself NOT upgrading anything from lvl 50 to 70. getting gg aspects was all i needed. might be a design flaw - i dont know. hard agree that Cooldown Reduction, Crit Chance, cost reduction, and lucky hit in niche cases are the most impactful stats. you can get away with having no movement speed but it feels bad. There is also reduction of control impaired duration which might become interesting later down the line if you can stack it (also seems kinda rare to roll).
