Splatterina replaces Anubis outright for handycraft, literally better in every way. If you are running dungeons and/or farming supply drops for +1 suitability books there are new "Best" pals: you can run an old WS3 Dark pal, give it a book, and make it better than the old WS4 pals. Helz Lux with a +1 power book replaces Orserk, Sootseer with a +1 Kindling book replaces Jorm Ignis, Prunelia with a +1 planting book replaces Lyleen, and Bushi noct becomes the best lumbering pal with a +1 Lumbering. Personally I replaced my Jorm with Faleris Aqua, but its just a lateral move for a smaller pal. Same thing with Bastigor (Anubis + Frosty) its just a lateral move, but its a little bit smaller for cooling.

@@epictreasure I play on Steam, and thank you. I just got excited about the new update and spend a little too much time in testing. :D I forgot to say it before, but the only reason a "Book" pal is better is because of the dark type. you can skip out on the nocturnal passive and run Craft/Art/Ws/Serious for an extra 20% workspeed. about the only pal i'd consider running anything else on would be astegon as they end up in the spa pretty often so it might be better to run Heart of the King, but i'm still in testing.

I ran into a bug last night, wondering if this has happened to you? When I build a new base all of my pals keep spawning and the pal box and cant walk around and do jobs. If i grab them and put them somewhere else they will spawn back at the pal box a few seconds later

I should make a video on this but... i found it is because the pals loading in are handiworkers and there is an item being built that isnt complete yet so they keep super spawning on top of each other until its complete.

I don't get it I put a flat base and still my pals are not able to find there way to different stations how is your base even functional haha

Certain pals have better pathing then others

Your base may be too tight for your larger pals
