just a heads up some pals always have a passive like the turtles always have hard skin if you catch one and relax always has glutton but you can breed two together to try and remove it or cross breed to get one without glutton also that being said keep all pals with no passives. once a pal gets a passive on it all its kids will have a passive random or not so having a bunch of different pals with no passives make breeding easier. i like to the max stat no passives pals for cross breeding it makes life a lot more easy when you are always breeding something with 5 breeding pens like i am

​@jjaestreamer yea for starting out breeding. I'd say focus on one pal at a time but have other pens just helping to get good parents. The best thing you can do if you want to breed the best pals right now is kill the lvl 30 bellanore raid boss. It'll give you stuff to make glasses that let's you see IV stats. Each pals has a IV number from 0 to 100 for hp, attack and defense and if that number is 100 that's a 30% increase on that stat and stats can be passed on from breeding so you can breed or catch a bunch of say astragons and try to get one with no passives and maxed IV stats then breed it with the one you have to get one with all your passives and max stats and then you will have a perfect astragon and a astragons with perfect stats with no passives that you can cross breed to move those stats to your next breeding project. When you breed 2 without passives there is a good chance of getting more without passives so after you get that astragon without passives but has maxed stats you just need to do a batch of eggs, take the best male and female (they will likely not have all max stats but youll likely get atleast a couple with 2 maxed stats and no passives) and breed one of them with the astragon so you'll have one parent with all maxed stats and the other should be like 2 of 3 maxed but 1 is ok also and just use the other pens like that to get a few different max stats no passives for future projects. Warning bellanore can destroy your whole base. Look up a video on it and only spawn her at a base you don't care about. Good luck bud

@jjaestreamer it takes some time, though, and it's not needed at all for the game. I used to breed pokemon for competitive play years ago, so after I did everything in palworld, I started just logging on only to deal with eggs and stuff. Habit, I guess. The point is don't feel like you need to worry about it it's more like if you want to get into it, there are some tips. Also, pals can only transfer one attack from breeding to the egg, so say if you got only one of a rare skill fruit you can put it on one of your no passive breeders and transfer the attack to others. That being said, for your breeding base, do not have any crafting going on, nothing that gives exp. A ranch is fine if you have extra room, but keep your breeding pals as low level as you can because if you want to transfer moves, the fewer attacks it has, the more likely the egg will get it

Hey JJAE how long have you been playing? If you breed your Anubis with a Vanwyrm you get Faleris, the fastest non-legend flying mount ( if you didn't know )

@@jjaestreamer I've been playing since Day 1 so I've got plenty of tips. For starters Astegon is the best Pal for mining once you unlock it's saddle and give it the Lightning Strike move from a Skill Fruit. I'm currently breeding 16 different pal lines for combos so let me know if you need any info.
