Just farm legendary sphere and catch him from back with 2% catch rate. If he fight back run away. Come back and catch from back. After trying 3 or 4 attempts, I got him at lvl 46 with LUCK.( Edit :your game mode should set on easiest one)

Try getting Frostallion first. Dragon is weak to ice.

You need more than one base. One base gives you 15 working pals. 2 will give you 30. And you need to have a breeding base too. If you want everything in one base, you can't have enough breeding pals. The developers are crazy. They now have boss raids with bosses having at least 250,000 hp. This game is losing a ton of players because the devs are only catering for those old players who spend a ton of their time just breeding pals. They should have creating new mechanics for older pals to get powerful instead. This game is definitely heading towards a wrong direction. It is fun from level 0 to 40. The end game is all about grinding xp, making ammo, and breeding. Not fun at all.

They raised the level from 50 to 55. They also raised the level from 10 to 12 for catching the same pal to get the maximum xp bonus. There is a lot of changes in this game, I suppose. You can't use just the red sphere. The red sphere can catch up to lvl 40 or so; otherwise the chances will be too slim.

Ok JJAE there is an order you're meant to catch the Legendaries in - Frostalion (easiest) then use Frostallion to beat Jetragon, then use Jetragon to beat Necromus then use Necromus to beat Paladius.

I would recommend Beakon as a great flying mount (the electric bird) The best land mount is Fengalope. You can breed them early on like Anubis too. Both of these pals you can unlock their harnesses by mid game. Faleris is too late game for me personally.

Hey JJAE, so for Mining at your Base try to stick with Anubis as they are the best Base Miner and also because they are small they won't get stuck.

Anubis is great against the electric types but worse against Grass types like Lyleen. I usually use Lyleens to fight the Boss Anubis in the desert. Lyleen is the most powerful Grass Pal in the game.

Faleris may be quick, but Ragnahawk applies fire damage to your attacks (double damage vs grass or ice). If you breed on passives like Legend (+15% speed) and Swift (+30% speed), you get there quick enough. Your build looks exactly like my first playthrough. I had my faleris, I had 2000 weight... I couldn't kill Victor / Shadowbeak for anything (level cap was 50). Then I started a new playtthrough, and went DPS focused. Mounted on a chillet (Applies dragon damage, strong against dark), with a team of Gobfins... I took out Victor in under 3 minutes at level 49, as soon as I got the rocket launcher. It is a completely different game if you go Player DPS.

Children can inherit IVs, Passives AND Active spells. There is appx 40% he will take an active from father, 40% from mother and 20% not to take an active. This is how you can transfer Holy Burst from a Lullu or Selyne onto a Jormuntilde , then a JIgnis for easy mode Ryu Fights. Since many of the new active spells are much stronger than the old ones, it is a good idea to try to breed things like "Curtain Splash" onto your raid pals, so you don't have to try to find fruit for them all.

Nice video. Nice improvement. Here is some knowledge / power for ya :) You are falling into the same trap that most new players fall into. They see that each point in damage only gives +2 attack, so they put all their points into weight, health or stam. Then in end game, they wonder why they can't kill anything... Yes, you could carry the boss, but killing it... nope. The most important stat to increase (for easy end game) is your attack. My suggestion is to get your health to 1000, your weight to 700, the put every point after that into attack. Most of end game you will be mounted (or should be for type advantage), stam is not that important. By increasing your Base attack, all of the multipliers do more good... Gobfin is the "Best" pal in the game. It's partner skill is to increase player attack by 10%. If you fully compress him, he will give the player +20% attack. If you then make sure he has Vanguard and Stronghold Strategist. Each gobfin on your team increases your attack by 30% and your defense by 10% So... With 4 Gobfins, and a ring of Attack +3, you have +135% attack. If your base attack is only 100, then the multipliers take it to 235. Not bad. More than double damage for carrying a few pals on your team. If you put points into attack, increasing your base... If you spend 50 points into attack, you can get it to 200. (The new lotuses and supply drops make this a LOT easier). 200 base attack +135% = 470 attack. Almost 5 times what "your" attack is. When you then take into type advantage into account... (Ragnahawk applies fire to your attacks, so this is super effective (double damage) to grass or ice pals). You can literally 1 or 2 shot world bosses. Player DPS far outshines Pal DPS in this game. Best to focus on it. Cheers

I am a rather new player to the game but I have learned a mega ton playing legit. Something people might not realize when they step into the game is there are eggs scattered all over that hatch into Pals.I would unlock the incubator first when you get your first Ancient tech points. You especially want the Huge eggs albeit there have been some glitches where you get a lowbie pal from a Huge but mostly you get some really useful pals for use or breeding. SO I would get that Nitewing you see flying overhead in the noob zone kill as many as you run across maybe you get Runner or if possible Swift on it.A very useful site for anyone to use is Palpedia you can let the engine sift through all the combinations to find your best route to breeding. There are obviously many other things but you want to keep an eye out for a LUCKY pal early game I have seen only 2 ever both in the noob area and I have made many restarts so idk 2 in maybe 15 servers is pretty rare so don't blow it you won't get another chance at that lucky pal until later end game.

My base is located right next to the first NPC you talk to after starting the game. Turns out this is an extremely good location when it comes to security, because the raiders have tons of trouble reaching it, having only 2 possible paths to walk on, or rather 1 path and a half, since one of them is at a lower altitude and my Pals can easily shred any intruders from there. I also built a big and thick stone wall on the other path and it seems the raiders' AI don't even attempt to destroy that wall.

People always sleep on Lyleen, but I always keep her in my party instead of carrying health around. Thank you for the vid

did you slow down your egg timers? Big eggs are default 60min when comfy. Please adjust your world setting for instand egg hatches, its not worth in single player to wait like that bro

Thanks for the mention, JJAE and no worries about the Faleris. I've since caught my Jetragon and yeah that Legendary is by far the fastest mount in the game lol. If you want to make your mounts better start breeding for passives like > Swift ( 3-star), Runner (2-star) and Infinite Stamina ( 3-star) it makes them so much better.

- 8:54 You aren't getting lucky with alpha pals, the boss ones are always alphas. - Condensing Lyleens improves her healing ability. It may be worth breeding more of her. Desirable traits for her include Serenity, Impatient (cooldown), Vanguard, Stronghold Strategist or Musclehead. If you want Spirit Emperor (20% grass damage boost), you'll need a wild Lyleen from Sanctuary 3. Legend is great too, but it's a bit too early for that.
