I agree though, Pokemon has to up their game for the next gen, Pocketpair is doing a way better job at making an open-world and monster-catching game than what Gamefreak did for Scarlet and Violet and that's crazy to me knowing who are the ones making each game and how much potential Pokemon has if *effort* was put into the games

I think it's mostly because they allow the choice between dark and light. While you can force your pals to toil endlessly and rely upon meds to stay productive, you can also let them work at a relaxed pace with breaks to use relaxing saunas.

To be fair, they do have an entire anime and experimental anination projects like Pokémon Concierge (highly recommend!) They also had some cute clips for their SV Pokémon reveals. It is nice that both these games have animations and projects that give these IP's more personality.
