It's they way they worded it in the description. They clearly said it will show the abilities of the pal. Stats aren't abilities.

IVs can be transferred via breeding it just takes much much more breeding. However its more likely he used the raid boss exclusive items to boost the stats.(I don't know if the lvl 30 drops them but I'm sure the lvl 50 version does) he also most likely doest have the dark wisp skill equipped for whatever reason.

What do you collect from a boss and put into your pal to increase his stats? I thought you can only increase stats through breeding

you can up a pals stat's at the statue of power with pal souls or though rare potions.

I'm just wondering something i'm pretty sure the dev notes say you cannot get the raid boss as a boss i'm pretty sure people's doing glitching again to get it as a raid boss

You can get the raid boss as a egg but you can't catch it.

A max iv (all 100) vs a min iv (all 0) at max level is typically less then then a %25 boost. Musclehead alone gives you 30% so definitely prioritize those traits 1st 👍🏻

This is pretty wrong. I have a 100 attack ability Blazamut with no passives for attack, and one with muscle head and ferocious. The difference was over 500 attack at level 55. Pretty big fucking difference.

Got a question if anyone can answer Isn't there an item in the game that came out? With this update, they can use on your pals to raise up their IVS Or do you have to breed pal's or capture them to have better Iv's

About IVs: 1) Because IV's have a chance to be inherited from the parents you can use breeding to pass down IV's by breeding pals with better IVs. 2) You can now use skill fruits to increase IVs. Skill fruits are acquired by a) beating Bellanoir Libero OR 2) purchasing via Medal Merchant for dog coins. Combining both methods: I never bothered with IVs initiallly so: E.g. If you have pals with good passives. Check palbox to see if you have any pals with better IV's (preferably with no passives or at least some that match) that you can use to cross breed to improve the IVs of the offspring. If you have none then you will have to hunt in the wild for pals with better IVs/check pal merchants to use these for breeding. Once you have pals with reasonable IVs and the passives you want THEN top up with skill fruits.... Its one of those examples of wishing you knew more at the start of the game than 500+ hours in ;-) But then.........that's the beauty of games :-) EDIT: If you dont have Ability Glasses you can view your pals stats via the sell menu of Pal Merchants as the stats are shown EXCLUSIVE of all passives/buffs. E.g. From memory max IVs on some pals are 113 Attack and 60 Defence at Lv 1. So using tables online that show max IVs of different pals you can use this trick to compare IVs until you get the glasses....

I'm not very good at exploring every location, but it is my guess that there may be some hidden in the higher-level cave dungeons. I can, however, confirm that you can find a few in the treasure chests laying around the wildlife sanctuary south of the starting area of the game.

Chests from dungeons I believe. also I've gotten them in the Restristed Islands, you know the one where you can get some "rare" Pals like Jorm Ignis, Verdash etc. I think all islands them have it but I'm not sure.
