6 crops in the shape of a pyramid, easy to perfectly align. Not necessarily a better method, but is an alternative. Stool, place crop atop, remove stool, place crop under, bench on left & right, place crops on top of benches, remove benches, place final two crops underneath.

00:55 I have no idea how you did it, but there's no way to destroy the benches below the first plantation, tried everything, it always targets the plantation.

@@shadowdevans7882 Tried before and after building the plantation, the way that he did in the video, is impossible for me to replicate. BUT I've managed to do it by building the plantation, removing the Foundations around, crouching on the ground and searching for a low enough spot to aim at the benches. Took me a long time to do just for the 4 layers, still worth it.

@@locutos8397 yeh they changed a few things with the building in Feybreak. So now it's a bit more tricky to demolish the benches. I'll find a suitable work around today and release an updated video. I'll release some screenshots over in my discord as soon as I find a good work around.

My pals seem to be going to the top and not coming back down. I've stacked them 10 high, is that too much?

@@AllyBlueChen If they are getting stuck then maybe it is. Also keep and eye on the what your trying to produce. Example being lettuce, make sure it isn't getting stuck between the layers of plantations. You may find you can't collect everything which is growing.

Went too fast for me I didn't see how you got the put second bench halfway how do you know it's half way?So I tired everything but then the second opposite bench had no way to snap to the upper bench so basically nothing worked for me.

I'm assuming your building on a foundation? building on ceiling have different rules and methods for some reason. You need to make sure your first bench is snapped to and runs parallel to one wall, shown at 0:16 Once the first 2 benches are down, hold Ctrl on pc and a blue line should show up aligning the bench you wish to place to the center of the first bench. 0:20 The face of the bench nearest to you needs to line up with the center seam of the first bench. If you move over halfway, you will lose the snap point which is a blessing in disguise since you just need to move back and forward until you get the perfect placement. If this still doesn't work then let me know, I could make another video where I go into more detail. Also are you Playing on PC or Console? Xbox game pass or steam? I only play PC through steam, so the rules to snapping/aligning maybe different to console.

Does stacking the plantation make the pal work on them at the same time? Like, let say 1 Jormuntide watering 4-stacked plantation for example.

@@falma0029 no, all pals will work on the plantations one at a time. This is only to save space and a little time with pals moving between plantations, gathering, seeding and transporting.

jump stack the first 5 vertically. then use snap to to build outward into a stairs. remove the extra under all of them then continue building the platforms like you have and remove til all are floating. small different but i just like how it looks compared to using the stools.

Yeh that works. I wasn't a big fan of the stools either since it can be a little fiddly. Though I wanted to avoid jump stacking

I really doubt they will. It doesn't break the game and like the grapple glider trick, it adds to the game.

@@looloobababooboolala7717 Yes, you use Hangu mostly to get around the map very fast. Pretty much be fastest way to get around the map until you get jetdragon with speed passives

@@looloobababooboolala7717 Galeclaw is really good especially in boss fights, however hangu with the grapple will allow you to glide much further and at the same speed since hangu glides vertically.

I tired out stacking my farms and that was… wow thank you! I was hating the way the clunky big farms looked on the ground. So subbing a cool stack of plantations for raggidy “farmland” was clutch! Took up way too much space

For stacking? It's exactly the same process, they are only smaller and easier to stack

instead of coming 2 benches out and 3 benches wide, you can just come 1 bench out and stack on top of those to connect the berries

@@vjt989 they don’t stack on the benches though because they are like more narrow so once you remove a bench it’s like 2 berry plantations worth of space

@@donnymoonshine3946 So I'm guessing your stacking them next to the wheat and Tomato Plantations? You should be able to snap the plantations to the side of the wheat and tomato plantations. Unfortunately, they will only snap to the center of the plantation your trying to line up with. Feel free to join my discord to post photos of what you have made, I will get a better idea of the issues you are having.

Was this patched, or does it still work? I'm getting the error "All floors must be touching the ground" when I try to place the first planter. The outline snaps to the benches fine but I can't actually build it. The only one it will let me place is the botton one.

This should work. I'm guessing your starting from the top plantation. If its a wheat or lettuce plantation then you will need a minimum of 2 benches across to snap be able to snap. The benches will also need to be in the center of the plantation. This of the center of the plantation as a dot, if that dot is placed on a bench or even stool it will see it as the ground, however if the bench or stool is of center then the plantation will have nothing to place onto and will give you the error "All floors must be touching the ground" Let me know if this helps. otherwise feel free to send me a photo of your issue to my discord, it will be much easier for me to help you 😃

@@Vomakith thank you! It absolutely does still work; I was doing something wrong. The key piece I didn't understand - you get that "floors must be touching" error if the plantation doesn't have support from below. I didn't follow the directions, and had all the benches at the same height instead of the "T" benches being one bench lower than what you're snapping to (as you showed in the video).
