The dude had family members pass away in the first year of living away from his family. He felt at home in the house with the close knit relationships there, when that move happened and people broke away into seperate groups, it obviously hit home for him. Moving back to Canada and going independent again would be a huge financial blow for him so Faze giving him the opportunity to create content, have an income, close to home, in a house again really isn’t that hard to understand. Best of luck Austin

It really is a shame...I used to follow the green wall religiously in the Nadeshot days and for a while after as well but things have changed too much since they killed off the team housing and Heczwe gave up control. I hope they listen to the fans and maybe in a year or two we'll see some better change.

I think that would very cool to see however I'm not sure it would work out the way Pamaj wants. Not unless Nade can give him that chance while letting him remain in Canada...that's his big focus if you listened to the end and I think that would be a key point in negotiations. We will just have to wait and see how the future plays out.

It puts business into perspective. No one who fully, properly understands content & business in general will not EVER doubt pamaj for doing what he did. No one can fault him for walking away when he was completely screwed by people who didnt care. What matters is HECZ sees the fault in the corp but also sees people for who they are. Pamaj like hecz said is always welcome back any day but pamaj has done what he feels is best for himself & NO ONE can take that away from him. Best of Luck Pam

first off i wanna say, great podcast this had funny ass moments i've been a fan of pamaj since i was like 15/16 and i'm sad but also happy to see him go, as long as he's happy or getting happier then i'm happy for him, dudes doing what he wants to do n you gotta respect that! i respect the fuck out of hecz, dude has gave years to this industry and it must have taken a toll on him! being a leader isn't always an easy job, there's easy calls and then there's the calls that you're gonna hate with every fibre of your being and of course the internal calls he has no control of! i get why he wanted to step back and kinda clean his hands of the situation, like really can you blame him? having so much shit thrown at you from not only a business stand point but from essentially every point when you think about it. ANYTHING goes wrong and so many of the self proclaimed "die hard greenwall fans" just throw shade at him. don't call yourself a fan if you're one of these people, there's a way to be a fan and not be a.... what's the word??? a dick? an asshole? screw it, a cunt?? hecz my guy, you're fuckin killing it! really loving these podcast😊 if you read this, no actually, for anyone who reads this.. enjoy the podcast, it's sick, some great moments in here and have a nice day!

This is hard to listen to... FaZe has done a great job of not only putting focus on esports, but also putting a big priority on content. And that's what Pam sees. Infinite kinda fked over Optic's content side which is the reason most of us grew to love OG
@johrsonpb7

More like they screwed both content and esports sides. In Overwatch, they rebranded their academy team from OpTic to GGEA and they got disqualified from Contenders S3 trials for not submitting their roster which by the way, did not have a main tank, one of the most important roles in Overwatch.

Hitch responded on reddit: I hadn't shared the story in order to not throw anyone under the bus, but it's been so long and Pamaj alluded to it in the podcast so I'll tell. Aaron was fired from Noscope while I was on the plane to Mexico to shoot the GoW event. I didn't know until I landed and found out through Sam. I obviously lost my shit and it was much of the reason why I was so angry for that time (sassy tweets and bitching all the time. probably the time that got me a bad name here). He was told to take OpTic out of everything, move out, and fly back to his parents in 2 weeks. The content team and Hecz basically said no to that decision and he was hired back as a content creator and then I switched to a content creator as well. It's all in the past now and much of it has been settled, but it definitely set an unhealthy vibe for everyone. Pam left to Canada shortly after that and wasn't around when most of us settled our differences and regained, so I think that's why he brought it up in Hecz's podcast. It was definitely a horrible situation though.

Having been a follower of Pamaj, I’m disappointed. He joined both these organizations in order to just build up more followers. I don’t blame him. That’s what content creators gotta do. But I wish he just stayed loyal to a clan.

One person I would really like to see on your podcast in the near future if possible is Dr.Disrepect I think that would make for a hilarious yet fantastic podcast episode. Anyways keep up the good work with your channel and Optic's channel I'll be watching no matter what happens. Let's go Optic! #Greenwall
