Nice crisp video, a welcomed sight on KZbin! The L1000 looks so small compared to her big sister, the L2350!

Awesome video, really is a loud beast. Watching that got me thinking that it would be really cool if you could somehow show the impact these large machines can have and some of the techniques used for cutting and filling in these large mine operations.

One of the finest wheels loaders ever made, When I first started mining at Quintette coal we had several including an L1100, then later on a L1400 for our 240 ton 830's. Beautiful machine.

Thats great footage there PA! I was going to say that the loader should be 4 passing the truck then I read your discription about the proto box,But it still looks like theres room for one more!! LOL

In theory any engine that stays at a constant RPM is far more fuel efficient than one which is constantly changing RPM like in a conventional wheel loader.

@UnitCrane514 Sure I do, always something new! I don't know if you joined my Facebook yet but that's the best way to keep up to date with what I'm in the process of filming or locating.

@PAmining Hello Locomotive - or new D-7e. That would be a cool video - I suspect they are not widely used in mining, but a video on a D-7e of them would be interesting (if you have the time). Thanks.

9 times out 10 when our 793s get stuck if the operator is smart and takes there foot off the pedal as soon as they stop moving you can normally tip the load and drive them out, if there a clown and keep the boot in and dig them down, they gotta tip the load then get a D10 on the front to pull them out of the hole they've dug
