Cely's Carinderia is an institution in Pampanga, serving Kapampangan delicacies to the descerning local folk for decades. Chef Gene Gonzalez took me on a food tour there and then into Angeles City's Nepo Centre for a gourmet Pampanga Food Tour..
Here's a great idea, if you'd like to show some love for the Channel, why not buy me a coffee at: www.buymeacoffee.com/marshall...

I've been watching Gene since the 90's when he had a cooking show on TV cooking with different celebrities. His knowledge of filipino regional cuisine and its origins is remarkable. I can see why he's a regular on this channel. I consider Gene one of the best if not the best historian of filipino food.
