This is my favorite episode. The couple is genuine and sweet and I love how v even included an animal she normally doesn't train. I'd truly love to see an update on this couple...see if they have kids lol. Cuz he truly would be a wonderful dad and you can see it in her face she'd just melt. If this is how they are with dogs and pig..... their kids would be incredible.

This episode was fantastic! The couple is quite eccentric and so fun! I love how much appreciation they gave Victoria and how much fun they all had with the time they had together! By far my favorite episode. I loved watching them learn to get out of their comfort zone to learn and grow. And to see Victoria get out of her comfort zone too!

I saw the short version of this episode, and I thought the full version was going to be infuriating. But it was SO MUCH FUN to watch!!!!! Matt and Melissa actually (Matt especially) followed the instructions they were given, consistently!! I know they, and more importantly, their animals are going to be MUCH happier in the future.

Agree! This is exactly why I ask super early on if someone wants kids or not and say bye-bye if they do, better to get it out of the way sooner than after feelings and commitment have developed. Would you believe me if I told you my parents got engaged after 6 months and hadn't even discussed if they wanted kids or not? Well, my dad didn't, but here I am 😅

Before I got my own dog about 1,5 years ago I binged pretty much every available episode of IMOTD and Dogs Behaving Very Badly, and I can, hand on heart, say that now I have a very well behaved Shih Tzu girl who respects me and looks up to me. It took 1,5yrs and many times of frustration over the puppy phase but it was so worth the hard work. Consistency and boundaries are the key, while not forgetting positive reinforcement when the dog does something right. The work still continues but it’s getting more and more easier as long as I keep being consistent with what is acceptable and what is not and praising each and every day when she’s doing well. Shih tzu’s are notoriously stubborn and quick to learn things and she’s not an exception and she definitely knows who she can get away with some behaviours but it’s not me 😂

I wasn't sure how this episode was going to go at first, but this couple surprised me. This episode was so much fun, they were very respectful to Victoria, fully listened to her, continued with the training and included her in their lives/their fun. It was just a really nice episode with good people who clearly care very much for their dogs and pig.

Yeah, it’s cute when it’s a baby, but if it’s untrained, that’s what all hell breaks loose. This is why you see so many micro pigs, even though they’re not gonna be little or potbelly pigs being rehomed because people think all pigs are intelligent. They’ll be so easy to train no, they are not easy to train. They are really smart like really really smart, but they are stubborn. I had farm pigs, the huge pigs and oh my gosh it took so much for me to train them Because I would show them they died of old age but I will never do it again because of how much work it is I feel like in my opinion they’re harder than dogs I’m not saying these people would be horrible pig owners, but they need to get on the training ASAP. It’s no joke pigs can be mean and vicious, I mean they can literally eat a dead body in eight minutes everything except teeth and they are resilient with pain so if once attacking you and you’re just hitting it, it’s not gonna feel it when I showed my pigs I literally had to prod the walking stick into the back of their ear because like I said, they are resilient with pain they have such a high pain tolerance. That’s why I hate to say it if a pig attacks you nine times out of 10 you’re done for

Well, my cat just went from being an outdoor cat to an indoor cat. I will take the advice you taught them for training my cat to be on a leash, even though he knows how it is to be on a leash. Else I've been teaching him tricks and he understands them. The advice Victoria gives to dog owners is also something you can do with cats. I love it :3

I'm glad that he called you and also glad that she got a wake up call that she treat her dogs like dolls and that she / they have to learn many things before actually have kids. I think a family therapist would be a very well teacher for them how to handle kids right.
