I was there too. I was 22 and it was my second Glasto. This was the best gig of the festival and I absolutely melted. Mind you the 1986 line-up was fantastic, with The Cure headlining Saturday... I still adore The Waterboys. The fire's still burning!

I had previously thought The Waterboys were horribly pompous and shite but had my head fair taken off by them after my freinde Liz made me watch them - such an amazing live band. This medley was most definitely a highlight and |I've been a fan ever since. Top 3 gigs ever for sure. I'm a lucky boy.
