@@kevinmoses8731 No I’m not forgetting there is no substitute but in this instance that’s exactly what he is. I know Joe is among the Elite. Been listening to him since the beginning of his career. Never said who was better and I don’t say that about any of the guitarist I love. I’ll say it again, there’s a lot missing. I’m allowed to have my opinion just like anyone else. Sorry you got butt hurt by it.

So when VH performed Panama in the Hagar era, was that copy catting? There's an original member on stage, plus one who fronted their equally successful second incarnation - by no reasonable definition are these copycats. More like a reboot/tribute band/super group hybrid! Eddie's gone, we can't change that, but I can't imagine a better lineup to do his music justice for the millions of adoring fans who miss him.
