Brother!!! I have another tip for you….. This one is specific to your situation…. There is another airport near Panama City on the other side of the canal cut… It used to be an American Airforce base I believe…. They have flights out of there for the low to Havana… via Wingo… Blessings!!!!

Niiiiice video! It’s like the two compliment each other, each having a step above the others area of lacking. I flew Copa from Maryland to Costa Rica last year and was impressed. Price was half that of AA price just a few months earlier. Hadn’t seen actual food on a plane in years! I recently saw the stopover offer, and definitely will use it since I want to spend some time in Panama anyway.

Most def! The only downside to Cuba is bringing a whole wad of cash because you can't use your credit cards. But the experience is so unique.

Yes! Remember if you want to save money take the metro from the airport to the city for under 1 dollar. Do your research on Panama City before you go, don't just show up. Don't let airport taxi drivers tell you ithe metro is not working. They want to charge you 30 bucks to take you to the city. As Keenan said, people don't go much to clubs on weeknights, so if you're looking for lively atmosphere try to go on a weekend when everybody is out and about.

Bro K. What a great way to start the weekend, coffee with Keenan. I have not been to Panama. That said, I know Cuba well. The women: you and I have a bias towards the chocolate sisters, to use your words. The Cuban women are much like a good cup of coffee, HOT BLACK and STRONG. They are extremely loyal and loving. As to make up, hair, clothes: with dollars the goods are still available. Not sure if the shopping mules still go to MEX, but probably. Also, I see signs of the clothes shopping site SHEIN from China in Cuba. There is (are) at least one Spanish site that delivers a mixed or particular box to Cuba. Out of the USA, not sure. Fun times: Cuba is open ANY night of the week. You can start your own on the Malecon for $3 (Habana Club Blanco). Mi amigo, saludos de Canada

Great info Keenan. I love Havana but haven't been back since covid. Thing is .... I like to eat. No disrespect but none of the places you eat at. That said, the Cuban tourism board is currently doing a charm offensive in Canada to tell people about the new and improved standards. I guess they need more Canadians (they are the single largest source of tourists for them). Like PTY too, will see how much time we spend there in future.

About the people, I will said that in Cuba you will have more fun at the beaches, because they love to dance over there.

Actually, in Panama Afro Latinos are more integrated to society than any other Latin American country. Panana even has a Black Supreme Court Justice, Cecilio Cedalise, and the Finance Minister is a Black man from Colon, Hector Alexander. Not saying there isn't discrimination, but Afro Panananians are much integrated than Afro cubanos. By the way, HAPPY BLACK ETHNICITY MONTH! I bet they don't have that in Cuba.

As a Colon boy myself, I would like to see the Colon mayor do more to help the people and don't overrely on the central government to solve the social problems in the city. He handles millions of dollars a year and nobody knows or sees what he's doing with all that money he gets from the central government, and the mayor is Black. I've heard the central government is building housing on the outskirts of the city for people living in those crumbling buildings in the city center. The people just elected a new Black mayor, Diogenes Galvan, and Alex Lee is on his way out. Hopefully Galvan will put the city budget to good use and not just line his pockets.

When you’re booking, they give the option to extend your stop in Panama PTY either on your departure or returning flight set. Because as he said, all Copa flights stop in Panama. It literally asks how many days you want to stay before continuing on your trip.

I think marriage because of economic need is not necessarily bad, it is the way it used to be in the US before women went into the workforce and it worked way better than what it does today. That said I know a Canadian woman that married a cuban lifeguard 15 years younger than her and as soon as he arrived in 'Canada he started cheating with other women and left her within a year after getting her pregnant. So yes, there are cuban gold diggers that you better be careful with.
