I am of the opinion, and feel compelled to say, that you guys are by far the best board game reviewers on the interwebs. While others are blinded by either hype, "peer pressure", or influence from game companies you give excellent reviews that seem to be your own. You point out nuances that others miss but that are often crucial for my decision making process. I genuinely appreciate your efforts. Creative yet self depreciating. keep it up.

For me it's largely that they explain the game itself rather than spend 20+ minutes going over the rules. It really informs me on how the game feels so much more than most of the big reviewers, whom I can barely stand.

I am a horrible person for wanting to get this game mostly so I can 3d print some really nice ship upgrades to hold the dice better and look cool. It is sad when these days I get a tiny bit sad when a game is so well produced there is nothing I can do to improve the components, heh.

I have this game since 1 year and... haven't play it yet cause the complex manual. We tried to play it one afternoon and wasn't possible... now is a classic to make the joke "Let's try Panamax?" when deciding a game and never gets to the table... I have to study it properly and go for it but damm... how a manual can almost kill a game.

you should have one person dive in and learn the game ALONE, and have THEM teach it. it is a big mistake to try and learn a complex game as a group.

weesh ful I've been playing games for over a decade and with a collection of more than a 100 games. Sometimes u can learn it in time sometimes we read the rules together, the manual of this game is an utter sh***

Agreed. Really, for any game, I play it once by myself, then once with a patient person (to work out how to teach it), and then bring it to the group.
