This is a really well thought-out configuration. As someone who does all kinds of low-budget ENG/ live video stuff with CX-350s, all of this makes so much sense.

this solution uses both "art" and "tech" ---- there is no such thing as "low bid"when you seek excellence in those two categories. Well done Skybiz Video!

Hi, I would look at the Tilta nucleous M tilta.com/shop/nucleus-m-wireless-follow-focus/ It’s designed to do what you need, it’s very cool but needs a shoulder rig and 15mm rail system

Are you able to give me some more details on that battery system? What kind of batteries they are and how they adapt to the devices they are powering?
@skybizvideomediaproduction61673 жыл бұрын
Sure they are professional Vlock batteries connected via a Small Rig smart Vlock battery adaptor on 15mm rails .

use the compactness of a camcorder and be happy that the camera doesn't weigh more than 2 kilograms..naaa rather rig it up to a cinema rig with 1000 accessories and operate it with two v mount batteries that weigh almost a kilo alone..:D it seems to me that the joy of building a "cool" camera rig was higher than questioning the functionality, even if that results in a meaningful workflow in some way (no hate :), just one question) it's worth all the financial effort for a camcorder with a fixed focal length and the typical quality quirks of a mid-range camcorder? anyway thanks a lot for the video it was interesting to see something like that, but I'm a bit skeptical I hope you don't blame me :D

Can I ask you for huge favor. can you shoot some cool 24 frames per sec Cinema footage with your rig using Panasonic CX 350. All I see is boring ass footage using this camera. You look like the type of guy that would do a music video or a small film. Please please please.

Hi thanks for reaching out, I normally only shoot 50fps and never 24fps, but join up the AG-CX350 Facebook page and ask there as some of those guys shoot that, this camera really lends itself to filming all types of corporate shoots in one package, and the Vlog is pretty solid too. Cheers D
