In your review of the UB700, you claim that you can clearly see a difference in picture quality between the UB700 and UB900 to the UB900's advantage. I haven't read any of review that find the same thing. They all argue that the picture quality is identical. Can you please provide some kind of evidence for your claim?

The one thing that does annoy me about these units is the design. Why can't they go with classic proportions like Oppo.

You could always pick up a XboxOneS if you just want a 4K blu-ray player without all the bells and whistles.

indeed! I purchased (in my opinion still THE or one of the BEST TV's ever made - the VT60 3 years ago...still beats out many of the UHD led's on the market today. What happened?!

***** Yea for sure the best 1080p out there still ! but the LG OLED's are just out of this world breathe taking 4K deepest blacks ever and expanded color they just need to improve the motion a little but its better then any LED out there.

£400! Scandal. It's too vanilla for that price!! He's calling the UB900 'the old model', it's only been out a few months. I think he should be calling it the 'flagship' model, eejit. It's the same player with a stripped down fascia and price by the looks. Still too overpriced to exploit consumers, I know, I'm one of them, forked out for the UB900. Build is a little on the delicate side with the UB900 coming after the BDT-700 Blu Ray Player in 2014 which was stellar. My viewing is via a 4K Projector onto a 106" Screen. I've been wondering if 4K UHD just looks like a well packaged/transferred Blu Ray. So far I've seen 2K Blu Ray look as good as 4K 'UHD Blu Ray, a good example is 'The Force Awakens'
