panasonic has a 1nm cut off to save stripping threads , it is designed to allow you to tighten by hand once the 1nm torque setting cuts out

get yourself a Dewalt DCF680; a bit larger size but the gyroscopic control gives it such a wide range of application this thing changed my life.

Wow your Vessel USB P1 has so much more wobble than mine. Mine is almost imperceptible. I'll throw a short video up on my channel

I have two vessel electric screwdrivers. One I bought in the US, the other from Japan. The US version does not take the JDB bits, but the Japan one does.

I remember using a battery powered screwdriver in Riso Kagaku factory in japan around 2009, it’s like the Makita one but better. Can control the torque and has better trigger for fast production. I can’t find it anywhere online

could it have been the hitachi db3dl2 or Panasonic EY7410?

For assembly tasks, it is much more advisable to use the Makita model DF012DZ. The TD022DZ model (Impact driver) is too powerful and it is easy to thread the metal threads in thin sheets (such as those of a PC Case). I'm telling you this from my own experience, although I have to admit that the TD022DZ is a very fun, more versatile toy.

Thank you for the suggestions! Any chance you have opinions of the Metabo HPT DB3DL2 for comparison?
@aaltamiranor
@aaltamiranor 10 ай бұрын
@@WhiteVaille That model is actually a HiKOKI DB3DL2 branded by Metabo. It's fine for most assembly jobs, but is less powerful than the Makita equivalent. HiKOKI also has a similar impact model to Makita, the WH7DL.

Wow, great video. I hadn't seen the Panasonic, nor that JDM Makita driver before. Extremely interested in it, especially if it impacts??? Might be an amazing installation driver for electrical work. Otherwise, i like the Vessel here for PC building. I see the lower torque as a benefit, and don't mind manually breaking fasteners free. I think 2Nm is just about right for most things you'll use it on? Without risk of stripping. Thanks again! Definitely going to give that Makita a look. Previously i had been considering the Metabo HPT driver of a similar style, though it doesn't impact, but has a clutch. Options, options, hmm...

I wonder how many bzF of torque the Makita has. The Panasonic seems too fast to me. I don’t want to cross thread fasteners. More fun is exactly what I’m looking for. My should bag currently has the Harbor Freight Ikon flex head ratchet and a Hoto P1 4mm screwdriver. I was very hesitant to buy the Hoto because I generally don’t like proprietary bits. But it feels very nice and is just overall a pleasure to use. I got another electric 4mm driver too. It’s not in my daily bag yet. It’s too long. Very thin but ridiculously long. I think I’d like a right angle driver. I want to get in to narrow spaces sometimes. Thanks for your great work. It’s a pleasure to watch. It’s saved me lots of money and lots of disappointment. I would have bought a couple of those drivers and gotten disappointed with their shortcomings.

You also bought makita bitpeace, that's really great. Panasonic's overcurrent protection operates more conservatively. Both Panasonic and Bessel products use low-cost 18350 850mah batteries (made in China), so the quality is poor.

Please test the double groove bits in the Hazet bit holders and see if there's side to side play. Thanks!

Interesting tools, that Panasonic one is too fast but no torque, just like the Wera turbo handle. I am using the bosch go cordless scredriwer with 5Nm of torque and a mechanical clutch and it can be activated by applying axial force on the bit. The older version has electronic clutch but not very sensitive for small screws , the bosch go 2 is better. Dewalt has something similar with a gyroscope. But I like your makita.
