yeh we have had Inverter microwaves and AC units for ages now. and a lot of it is driven by power usage cuts

I got part of it from my email notification: Posted By levantino314 "Microwaves are one of the appliances that we use daily in our homes but people don't know the radioactivity that can cause these appliances, both in food warmed in the microwave, why cancer cases have somewhat per cent also blame these devices... "

Interesting the arcs still have a 50hz hum to them, inverter output must be pretty nasty :P

those inverter nukers don't last long unlike my oldschool sharp halfpint ,over 300 total destruction nukes and still going strong , and sounds diesel powered with black soot inside,named her "back in black"

You should see if it's possible to draw arcs from the inverter. There is a video that shows how to power them up, it's quite easy. I haven't seen anyone actually pull arcs from one though.
@RDFStudios12 жыл бұрын
That was a cool video. That big lightbulb is still good i'm guessing. You need to see how long one of those can last in a microwave. Also i got to say i just watched a bunch of your dryer videos that i didn't know about. Oh man, the one with the fire inside. Wow is all i can say. Those were great.

so umm...how bad would it be if you put a massive crap capacitor in the microwave to see how long it lasts?
@PeppercornVR12 жыл бұрын
if you put a glass of water all the way in the opposite corner of the mag it absorbs the excess radiation and it will keep it running nonstop. I had a pump pumping water in and out of a jar and lit a small hps bulb for nearly 40 minutes till it melted on the inside. I also lit up the entire inside of a microwave once with plasma for 40 odd seconds. As long as you remove excess energy, the mag won't overheat =)

You need to microwave a lithium polymer battery sometime, those are like a flare going off apparently, especially if you overcharge one first.

Viewer # 90 :D Those lamps did some interesting things, and the circuit board had some nice poppage to it as well, even with flaaaaaames. :D I'm not sure what to make of these 'invertor' microwaves. I'm sure that as time goes on, there'll be improvements to them, OR we'll end up going back to the big old MOTs with magnetron setup. Thanx for showing, -BoomBoxDeluxe.

I use an old heavy Panasonic microwave from 1996, best microwave I've ever had. built a lot better than this newer shit. I had a fire nuking some kraft dinner once (forgot to add water to the KD) but it still works fine after a cleaning.
@WJCTechyman12 жыл бұрын
I know you typically say that safety is a priority, but maybe you should get a Lexan screen similar to what the MythBusters have when cooking the metal halide bulbs and other large items.

Great vid... though that microwave door screen sucked lol. Either that or the inner window was greasy. On another note, I was always afraid to nuke a CFL for too long afraid the bulb would pop and mercury infested phosphor coating would splatter all over the insides of the microwave. Dont want that
