This phone and most 2.4/5.8 models with Talking Caller ID don't have phonebook match. It wasn't until the 60xx models where they added a clever solution where the caller ID match is pulled from handset 1's phonebook.

By the way, you actually can delete messages from the handset if you press star five that’ll delete all messages and star four it will delete the new ones

Great video of the Panasonic KX-TG5100 5.8 GHz Cordless Telephone trio with a digital (digitan) answering system, the Jordan (which does have the older voice, & I like that one better than the unfortunate newer voice)! Yeah, the audio quality was weak when the phones were on talk mode. Might want to fix the receiver capsules on these 3 phones cause they may be the problem, besides the audio quality problem.

Thanks, Aaron! I do like this older voice better than the new one as well. There is nothing to be repaired about the receiver capsules; that's just how they are on this model.

You should get a cheap voice recorder or another spare camera (Thats if you have either already) and record the audio from the phones directly onto the recorder or camera and then overlap it. Since the reverb is pretty bad at times.

Something i wanted to point out is when you were trying to leave a message in the different mailboxes and it says Please Leave Your Message it kinda sounds like it says Please Leave Youi message. Did you notice that?

Hi Jordan, good video. I think I commented on one of your other videos telling you about a Panasonic phone I had recently bought. It is a Panasonic KX-TG2237S 2.4 GHz giga range telephone. It did not come with the power cord, so I guess I’ll have to order one of those on Amazon. Anyway, do you know anything about that phone? Like is there anything that I should know before testing it?

I think the strange ringtone you're referring to is tone 5, which sounds like a bird chirping. It was only seen on the 2.4GHz models.
