WOW, looks like a documentary. But with good light, this is a beast

Very well captured, how about the effectivity of the stabilization (handheld)?
@HarrysHikes7 ай бұрын
It’s ok but you still have to hold it very steady. All the footage filmed in this video is handheld.

Ahh got it! It's actually more interesting after you said handheld, extra one. Thanks

How about stills from this camera? I do mostly photography,and I really like to know about image quality? Thanks.
@HarrysHikes4 жыл бұрын
The image quality is quite good, but it’s hard to really gauge the quality. It’s no where near a mirrorless camera. But the flexibility the camera gives is worth that trade off. But in the right environment and lighting it does take great photos.

I sold my FZ 2000 to my cousin after I had bought my Sony A7 iii last year. I have just purchased another FZ 2000! Why? My Sonys are good for Fine Photography and especially for indoor and outdor photos and videos but you have to change lenses! The FZ 2000 is not great in low light, but it is the ultimate run and gun video and photo camera! Especially for video! You can extract super photos from 4K video footage! You might want to check out some videos on my youtube channel that I shot at the Kirn Germany music festival with a FZ 2000 in 2018! I shot the footage in HD at 200Mbits!

Hi was this all taken hand-held? If so wow, even in 2021! Also, do you think there is a worthy competitor for this bridge/zoom camera specifically for wildlife videography, that may perform better under low light conditions? Thanks
@HarrysHikes3 жыл бұрын
Yes all hand held with a steady hand. I would say a worthy competitor is the Sony RX10 which I also considered. It's great for wildlife photography, but with anything with that kind of zoom, the aperture is lowered the more you zoom so not great in low light. From what I've read the RX10 is slightly better, but it's much more expensive

@@HarrysHikes Thanks Harry, is this still your main camera for all your KZbin videos? Also, I reckon I would get away with half the zoom range for most of what I need. Cheers!

@@Karkawry1970 I mainly use my phone camera and drone. The LUMIX I’m using less and less since I upgraded my phone. I find it’s great but only for certain situations and am considering selling it. I do a lot of walking and find myself carrying it and hardly using it. But for capturing certain things that require zooming it’s excellent.

Wow am really confused between this and the g85
@HarrysHikes4 жыл бұрын
They run the same software underneath, I chose the FZ2000 due to its versatility without having to change lenses. The G85 is better quality but have to fiddle with lenses.

@@HarrysHikes I am someone who's not gonna buy lenses and would rather buy camera gear like Steadicam and stuff, also video is my priority and mostly will be shooting in 4k, what do u suggest this or the g85 ?
@HarrysHikes4 жыл бұрын
@@comradecat1859 I haven't used the G85 so I can't really say, but I can say that the video on the FZ2000 is excellent and the sound (even though most people use a separate mic) is good too. But also depends on what type of video you will be shooting and if it will require diff lenses. If not you may be better off with the G85. It's a tough call, but it's all about what type of shooting you will be doing.

@@HarrysHikes how's the 4k crop on the fz ?? Cause I heard it crops in a lot.
@HarrysHikes4 жыл бұрын
@@comradecat1859 It crops a very little like most cameras, in fact I would prefer more of a crop as the angle is quite wide and it would aid more with stabilisation. But I would say the stabilisation isn't that great so any filming would require a gimbal.

I literally was about to post my FZ2500 to sell bcuz I just bought the Sony a7iii with a Sigma 24-70mm Art Lens and Tamron 20mm Lens. But after seeing this video, I may just keep it around a lil longer for small projects or behind the scenes footage or maybe even photo shoots since I have a Godox Speedlight for it. But I shoot mainly video and I find the 4K footage unusable. It performs best in 1080p. Low lighting is not great either. I did a couple shoots with friends who use Sony Alpha cameras and in post, my footage was not even close to their quality. Was almost unusable, which is why I just bought my new a7iii. So I feel it depends on what you’re doing with it determines KD it’s worth it do you.
@HarrysHikes4 жыл бұрын
Darnell Cauley seen the Sony you’re talking about and it’s different league, but also a different category I would say. I also just shot at 1080 and I use outdoor, not in low light. It’s a great all round camera so worth keeping for flexibility.

Harry's Hikes yeah I agree. It’s a great flex cam. But a7iii bout to see a lot of work. Lol.
