i'm impressed by the optical zoom in both 4k and 1080p. i also think that i zoom is usable to a degree. there is a percentage of reach past the optical zoom that i zoom footage is useable. the digital zoom really doesn't work. so be it. thank you for the effort and the sharing of this vid. thumbs up.

In these digital zoom footages, also the heat shimmer decreases image quality.

Congratulations on this review of the zoom !! 👏 I have purchased these days the Lumix DMC-FZ2000 and I am very interested in the 3 types of comparative zoom at different resolutions. I would have liked to buy the Nikon Coolpix P1000, with a 125x optical super-zoom, but I preferred this Panasonic because it makes the smart transition from optical to digital (20x-80x), without the image to shake too much, as happens at P1000 (125x-250x). Interesting to see is a comparative test of the zoom of the Sony DSC-RX10 III (25x, optical - 100x, digital). 😎
