The S5 lost focus so many times, but to be fair, I've seen A7iii and A7s iii lose focus when shooting into highly backlit scenes as well. There was some very distracting focus hunting at 2:09 also. However, this video seems to have been filmed before the 2.0 update, I'm guessing?

yeaah i slightly notice it too. the building in background constantly pulsing in and out of focus. sucj a shame, s5 is almost the perfect video camera.

I have noticed that if I shoot in 60fps With the APS-C crop then the sensor working at 60fps for auto focus works twice as good... twice the scan, twice as good.

Charles, I'm using AFC with speed and sensitivity set to their highest setting.
