Watched it over and over again on my 55”. Simply wow! Felt like I was watching a movie. Did you use any lut? And you mentioned peaking was unreliable. Can you elaborate like on screen it was showing in focus and in video it turned out to be out of focus like that? Amazing video.

basically the peaking has a "depth of field" that's wider than the actual area in focus on it's default setting, all grading was done using curves in Resolve, surprisingly easy to do
