Well I nearly turned your video off, as it seemed too unlikely to be true. But after spending all day trying to find the fault on my Panasonic Plasma TV, and ready to sling it! I vacuumed it out. Although It wasn't even that dusty, it actually worked.... Thanks so much for making the video. Now I've just to get the heavy blighter back on it's wall mounting in the bedroom. My Model was The TX-P42C3B. I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!

lewislikeslife yep certainly does. Another way I’ve found that also works if you hold in the main power button, then use the remote to turn it on, it sometimes kick starts it too. Glad it help you out. Cheers

I have a Panasonic that is super old probably older than yours. But would yours go to power on and a half of a second later it would power off and keep clicking on and immediately off? That’s what mine is doing it’s making the noise like it’s going to power on and then just clicks right back off and keeps doing it like it’s trying to start up

Omg everybody this is not a joke I swear my Panasonic Viera LED TV had not worked for over a year it would only come on sometimes but I turn it on and off at the plug socket but in the end it just made a clicking sound I actually took the back off the TV and gave it a light hoover obviously keeping the pipe a few inches away from the components I swear on my mum's life I put the back on put the plug back in just thought I would try the remote control that hasn't worked by the power button like I said for over a year and it works with the remote control this guy is a saint because it's still quite a good TV 37-in great for games console thank you thank you thank you thank you

Totally worked for me. Couldn't believe it. I have a Panasonic TC-P46ST30. It was only turning on like 90% of the time, and the other 10% it would sound like it clicked on with nothing happening. The power button did nothing. I had to unplug the power and plug it back in to make it work again. Then I did what this video said and vacuumed it out in the back, and presto it's back and working! Good thing, I like that TV and was bummed about having to replace it. Now I don't have to. We'll see how long this works, but for now it seems fine. Thank you!!

I’ve had a 50” Panasonic Plasma TV for 15 years now. Still works fine. Now that I’ve said that I’m probably screwed. Damn thing weighs 100 lbs. But still works great. I use a can of air to blow the dust through every now and then. Don’t tell the wife. Later.

No way! I can't believe that! 6 month I tried to turn on my plasma, and I don't have luck. Finally I see that guy, I gave a nice hovering on the tv and voila! The tv turn on without any problem! @@kalzy2957 probly bad power on mobo , bad transistor likely, i bet that is my prob also.. you have to check the circuit board to know for sure, but seems a few had the trouble with the board.. they run about $160 last i saw so i bought a new tv.. and, that's just one of the 3 boards.. but most likely the problem.. he got lucky, it's a bit silly to "bang" a tv these days..lol

In my case there was no power at all, no flashing red light. I pulled the plug and blew it out with compressed air through the vents in the back, plugged it back in and it powered back up as per norm, I also went into settings from the menu and selected the restore factory defaults. The reason for that is because I read from someone that if you didn't do the restore factory defaults it could repeat the original problem of no power at all. Maybe this will help you, mine has been working fine for over a week now!

Try switching main switch off and then back on whilst pressing the remote control on button at the same time/ as soon as light flashes. No idea but that works when mine does that !

Hello, i have a Panasonic Viera tv and it was working perfectly but now it seems to have a problem. I bought a new DVD player called Cyber then i connected it on my TV on the AV2 input cos on AV1 input there's a decoder cable, the DVD player was working fine but then it stopped working and it's still new, after it stopped working it affected my TV AV2 input, when i try to click AV2 on my remote it doesn't switch from AV1 to AV2 but it can switch to AV3, also the power button and Viera link button on my remote got affected they're no longer working. So am confused what might be the problem? Pls help me out if u know the problem and solution. Thanks

my tv is panasonic viera. no red light but the tv is plugged into the power. i check the power with other things such as plug-in to my laptop charger and it still charged so the problem might be TV itself. i tried pressing the power button on the tv, no luck. I've got a Panasonic viera without a remote. It will turn onto standby but there appears to be no button to then turn it on from standby. It baffles me why manufacturers design tvs to switch onto standby rather than just to switch on! And if that's the way they're going to make this tvs, why don't they add a button onto the fkin TV to switch it on from standby! Modern technology is riddled with pointless design flaws that simply didn't exist ten fifteen years ago

Yeah it does!! If you have any other issues afterwards try turning tv off at mains, then back on again. Press and hold any number on remote whilst pressing on tv power button. That should get it started too
