I used to visit this restaurant during 1985-2003. They were serving only the basic puri and two subjis. The taste was good. Now it seems they have increased the varieties.

Pancham puri I use to go from 1978 & enjoy puri bhaji aloo subzi now they have started thaali also i have never found so pretty taste anywhere , At launch time even we r far from Pancham puri we use to drive even an half an hour or so to have puri bhaji with achaar on every table taste v v nice it's my favourite place to have puri bhaji & thaali great Pancham puri keep it up

I used to visit this restaurant in 1959 when in Mumbai. That time regular and only dish avlbl was potato sabji and 4 Puri + one extra sabji ( gawar or pumpkin etc) @ Rs1/- extra 2 Puri s @ Rs0.50. That time it was a very small place.Taste was v.v.unique I still remember. Today it looks moderately decent. Happy to recall memory.

All great restaurants are from other parts of India in Mumbai, no great Maharashtrian hotel of cult standing like others. These SS can only complain of outsiders but locals can only do vada pav, usal pav, misal pav,sabudana vada, kichdi( upvas day) and pav bhaji that too mostly street food. I lived in Mumbai for many years.

I have been visited many times during 1995 to 2003 while working in Ballard Estate. That time Bhopla, Kadi Pakoda and Alu ki Sabsi were main sabjiyan with chilli and oinion salad on table. Butter milk also available with extra bucks. Extra puris were available with extra sabji of your choice. Very good place and economy. That time Desi ghee was used for puri preparation ..... my question is that : Now Puris are prepared in Desi Ghee aur that tradition changed???

I've watched a couple of your videos and started liking your presentation. Will watch more. However, one thing that i don't admire is that you shouldn't be praising every time. I understand that you cover mostly the famous and popular places so chances are that 99% the foods you try must be praiseworthy, but still, you have to show positive and negative both sides. Kabhi koi chiz kam pasand aaye to wo bhi bolna chahiye. Your reviews should be neutral. I hope you get my point.
