The great thing about these videos is that if you don't just watch them, but follow along drawing the structures, labeling them and taking notes you really do learn.

A good way to remember acini, acinus, acinar cells is by their distinct cluster shape. The root of those words is aciniform which means "shaped like a cluster of grapes".

Yet another brilliant video that helped me with my assignment!!!! Question asked me to draw & annotate how bile salts and pancreatic juices emulsify lipids in the duodenum. This video helped me understand bile salts so another huge THANK YOU from Cornwall in the UK. Wish you were my tutor because you really make me get it!

The naming of enterokinase is somehow confusing nowadays. It is not a kinase indeed, that said it would be better called it as enteropeptidase. Regardless of this, thanks for the interactive and interesting educational video, learnt a lot from both of you guys!

Hi, I have a question. How will my pancreas work if I drink black coffee at the same time every time I eat cake or any high content carbs? Or where does the glucose from the food I consume end up? Will it also go to muscle, fat or liver cells?

Contrary to popular belief, gall stones are not caused by too much cholesterol. Gall stones are concentrated bile that has precipitated because of not eating enough fats. When bile is not excreted it becomes more concentrated and eventually precipitates into gall stones.
