Art is an expression of ones self. a tangible representation of an intangible thing. I definitely see how skateboarding is an art. Any "sport" can be raised to the level of art.

the people hating on this video just don't understand the freedom and artistic vision of skateboarding. this guy is going out into an urban terrain, finding objects that look different and skating them in a different way. much like a musician finds sounds and manipulates them in their own style.

I can't imagine Daft Punk fans enjoying Panda Bear's music, it's a whole different style. I mean... From easy-listening disco music to psychedelic pop. And by the way, Panda was the one who asked to collaborate with Daft Punk because he is a fan, not the other way around.

no surprises there, the amazing thing is that he can make something that sounds so much like Pet Sounds but still sounds deeply individual and modern. And it has the same musical quality as the beach boys which is what almost every artist lose when they're ripping off something

"you can tell the sk8er is a rookie because he rolls through the puddle. all pros (like myself) know that this will totally jack your bearings and also make your skaterboard lose what we call "pop" which is the ability of the board to make a popping noise when you do standup grinds on handrails, statues, rocks, etc..." I agree it's totally going around.
