Pandemic in the Lab - Gen Con 2013

From my understanding (and you can have details on boardgamegeek) you don't actually NEED the conversion packs... It makes thing nicer together but you can use sleeves and then all the cards are the same... I just want to point that out because there is a lot of people thinking that the compatibility deck are necessary which is not the case.

They have conversion packs for sale that will update your 1st printing to the current edition of the game. Think the base game upgrade is $10.

Pandemic is my favorite game, but I'm not sure about In the Lab. There's something about it, that I can't explain or put my finger on, that just doesn't excite me. I'm going to wait until someone else buys it, in order to play it.

Is it not playable at all if you dont have on the brink expansion?

You can play it without the on the brink too. But it has some additional cards *for* on the brink.

You bring a game to gen con to demo and you dont bring complete game to demo , yeah real professional there guy , great demo 🖓 shesh i hope they dont pay you and your just a volunteer
