You made me laugh several times this episode 😃 though I’m so sorry about the car accident. Really turns your world upside down for a bit. I have been in contact with Colleen but I won’t be able to make it next week. October is super busy for me and on top of that I came down with Covid last week and am still recovering from that (though I’m over the worst of it). I’m definitely interested in another time in the future! I’m in a homeschool co-op with another avid knitter who would love to come too.

I really like the way your top looks with the black turtleneck! Early in the pandemic I was out early one morning, grocery shopping during the senior hours (trying to be safe) and on the way home had an accident at a 4 way stop, less than half a mile from home. I stopped, nobody else at the intersection, started to go through, and out of nowhere a car came up and hit me on the passenger side. I looked that way in time to see the front of that car inches from my car. I wasn’t hurt but my car was totaled. The lady that hit me ended up in the hospital with something about her heart. She seemed uninjured at the scene but was in an incoherent panic and after a few minutes started having chest pain. She was in a hurry for her 1st day at a new job and I think was looking at directions on her phone and missed the stop sign, and was going fast. Her airbag deployed. I go through that intersection often and every time now I look way down the road to see if anyone is coming. Only 2 eggs cracked and cherry tomatoes went everywhere.

That sounds like a scary accident! I'm glad you and your groceries were relatively unharmed. I hope the other driver was ok in the long run. 🤞

Happy to hear no one was hurt. Wish I could meet you for the knit together in October, have a great time. It was interesting on what you said about about subscribing to a You Tube channel. I think I have been unsubscribed from some of mine, something good to keep an eye on. Love your Lionshead top You do beautiful work.

Another podcaster was making the crocheted sweater and got so frustrated trying to put it together that she begged for someone to help her out. Amazingly a lady offered to finish it for her. It was sent out and I’m watching to see how it turns out.
