Hi Beth, thanks for a great podcast. My most worn knit is a Kuutar cardigan that I knit in the round and then steeked. It doesn't fit me right but since it's steeked I can't fix it. I wear it over my jammies as a cozy house coat. Any who , I'm retired so I get to spend lots of time in my jammies, knitting of course. My mom was an educator here in NW Montana teaching 2nd grade for many years.

I'm glad you liked the podcast, Carole. I had to look up that cardigan. It looks intricate. I'll be taking a steeking class when I go to the retreat at the end of the month. I need to work my way up to cardigan-sized steeking. It's great that you still get use from it when you're not happy with the fit. I think 2nd grade is the best age to work with. They have the discipline that the first graders haven't yet learned and they don't have the sass that seems to appear in 3rd grade.

Your Grapevine sweater is looking fantastic. Im at about the same spot as you. Im hoping to have the body done by retreat. My most warn knit is probably my Rock-it Tee. It's short sleeves, but I feel like I can wear it year round.

I love to wear a mohair shawl knitted in a long side triangle with the edge being lacy crochet. Soft cozy warm. Like a hug. I have the Garden pattern and you have motivated me to cast it on. Thank You!

I sense a blue and green theme today. Definitely your colors. My most worn knit is probably my Mingling Daisies Shawl done in Malabrigo Arroyo in English Rose, because of the color and because it’s lighter weight. I gravitate to worsted weights, but I need to remember, when choosing yarn, that I live in Florida and worsted weight is not ideal (too warm).

My most worn knit is my Flax DK. It is my first knit project, oversized, and very comfortable! As a new knitter working on my first colorwork project in stranded knitting, I was advised to go up 1-2 needle sizes in the colorwork section to minimize tension issues. In answer to Kendra’s question- any one of my shawls, but for a full garment, my Pointe Aux Pins Pullover by Sierra Morningstar. It is a comfy sweatshirt style that is classy enough but casual as well. Knit in Sweet Mountain Crafts Alpine, it’s also cozy and warm.

Hi Beth! I’m laughing over here because I’m having a hard time answering the question I suggested! 😂. I’ve narrowed it down to two - I wear knitted hats daily in cold weather and most often reach for the Frost Toque, probably because I knit coordinating mittens. My most worn sweater is the Allison Cardigan in Miss Babs Yowsa- it’s comfy, easy to throw on, and the yarn has worn very well.

It's great when you make yourself think, isn't it? I just went through Ravelry to find your finishes, and I found the hat, but I couldn't find the cardigan. There are several "Allison" cardigans on Ravelry. Your hat is beautiful!

Wow you are working on a lot of projects. Are you sure you haven't knit a sweater to wear everyday? You have knit so many lovely sweaters. The sweater that I wear the most is my Turtle Dove, because it is so sweatshirt like.

I think maybe I didn't make it clear that I was talking about Christmas-themed sweaters to wear every day of the week. The Turtle Dove looks like a cozy one to wear. Good choice!

Hi Beth! I love your sweaters! They are going to be beautiful! Other than socks in the winter, my most worn knits are shawls. I wear mostly solid color linen dresses and shawls really add nice color pops and change up the look of the dresses. I’m looking for the “perfect” cardigan pattern (have one on my needles now) and if I find it, I will probably make one in every color and those will become my most worn knits. I’m really looking forward to seeing your finished Garden cardigan. That is on my list to try. Looking forward to seeing you very soon!!!

Hi Susan! Thanks for the sweater admiration! I wish I knew how to comfortably wear a shawl. Maybe you can show me how you wear them at the retreat. The simplest and best-fitting cardigan I have is the Campside Cardi by Alicia Plummer. Can't wait to see you!

My favorite winter knit to wear is a sweater made with minis I received as part of a mini exchange. It is simple and full of color. My favorite summer knit to wear is my Light Summer Tee by Wise Owl Knits. I really need to knit another one! (Please recuse me from the Sandy bag drawing).

I never get knitting related gifts. None of my family would have a clue what to give me. My husband and I don’t exchange gifts. But that’s okay, I buy myself what I want and my husband is supportive. 😃

I'm pausing the video to comment on your Malin swatch. If it is mosaic knitting, why are there floats? Could that be the problem? Usually with mosaic you are just using one colour per row and slipping some of the stitches. I could be misunderstanding, but had to comment 😊

I totally understand, Sandra. Thanks for trying to save me from myself. The floats happen when you slip stitches. The other color is carried behind the stitches.
