What I like to do is start with the moon lander, as it comes with everything, if I can, find a little bit of ice, and throw it in(but not necessary), make sure the hydroen thruster is on my bar along the atmo thrusters in a group(to turn on and off), line up a jump to earth, and hydro out of orbit and maneuver my trajectory to head straight to earth, if you feather use the hydro for course corrections, you have enough ice to make it. Once your into atmo on earth turn on your atmo's to slow decent, and your shute will do the rest :)

I built D thrusters on top small but I don't know how to set the remote access so it doesn't fly off like my last 1 did. Can you help?? I grouped v thrust and D-thrust into separate blocks

You can totally build your rover to balance on 2 wheels with a gyroscope. No need to drive on scaffold frames that'll break from any damage.

Space pod is probably easiest. Just make a basic refinery, basic assembler, then ore detector and you are set

Another thing to consider is that if you're dumb like me and you flip your ship upside down your antenna is gone, so you won't be able to remote in and definitely need the cockpit.

I didn't even know I could fly the starting drop pod, lol. I don't see any flying controls anywhere so I assumed it just wasn't something to fly. Thought, story wise you are using a parachute otw down bc it no longer was capable of flight... Why didn't the guy just fly down? Idk, lol.

Always search in your seat for the PDA who give you the nearest trading station gps location. Very usefull, you can sell and buy composent and if you are Lucky, ship. (Turn on the economy on your world)

By default the thrusters are hidden in the controls. You will need to unhide them.

Why did you grind down 3 lift thrusters you do realize you already had all the extra materials (stuff that can't be made by the Survival Kit) needed to make the gyro, remote and 4 directional thrusters from the beacon, parachute, and hydro thruster right? Never grind the lift thrusters it just ends with your pod smeared all over the ground when you cant maintain height......

Hmm. I'll look into this, but I recall the combination of grinding down a beacon, parachute, and hydro thruster yields most parts needed except the large steel tube that can't be produced by the survival kit, which you only get 2 from the hydro thruster. You will be able to make an additional thruster and a gyro that will cost 1 large steel tube each (not including the other mats). Should be that the large steel tube was the bottleneck, but thanks for the info.

It comes with a battery,O2/H2 generator, ore detector, and why would you need a cryo chamber? For healing? That's what the survival kit is for. Also, you need FOUR more thrusters. Look, it's nice that you're doing help me videos, but you should really research them more. Maybe go watch splitzie's video on this very topic, it's much better.
