Cool, nice drumming man🤘thanks for filming and giving us a look behind the scenes. First time I ever heard Wolfmother was when they were support for Regurgitator in 2004, they played Dimension as the opener which immediately grabbed my attention! Will have to catch you guys next time you're in Aus :)

Yeah dimension is a great opener to get the crowd pumped! Thanks for the comment 😁

Cool video! Im surprised by the ride cymbal you are using! I also used to have a hithat of the sabian pro series. They were cheap but sounded really good. Greetings from Spain!

Yeah I've had that ride cymbal for years, they sound great 😃 the only real downside is the bell is really small on it

how'd you get this gig if you don't mind me asking? awesome vid!
@ronniethedrummer4 ай бұрын
My band supported Wolfmother a few times, then one day his previous drummer asked for a break. He then asked me to drum 🥁. But also I think being prepared for this kind of moment is important as well, by always practicing hard...so when you finally get the opportunity, you can take it.

What is playing in your earpiece when you play? Is it a click and also the other instruments? Is it weird playing with that? Thank you!
@ronniethedrummer4 ай бұрын
It's just an ear plug, so I have nothing playing in my ear. But I do have a fold back speaker next to me and that has guitar vox and bass coming through. We don't play live to a click. However we did once play with in-ear monitors when we did a show in the stadium, that's because of the reverb that bounces off the walls. But still that was without a click track, just a mix of the band in my ears.

How often did you rehearse with the Band before the tour?
@ronniethedrummer5 ай бұрын
ive been playing for about 2 years with Wolfmother, for this particular tour we did one rehearsal to make sure we still were sharp. Most of it is muscle memory now and staying sharp to not lose focus on the song structure.
