Wow. This is so pretty. I was wondering why the gold didn’t give you as much lacing like the other CA’s do? It’s is because you swiped with a metallic color and it reacts differently? I’m just curious. The result is like a beautiful piece of jewelry.

@@frismo1 nope. Think if it as a bowl of whipped cream and then you pour milk on top. The milk (thinner) will seep through the cream. Same here with the paints.

Loved this piece, Niki! The whole composition is a swipe-tease of peacock colors. I'm looking at my Primary Elements for something that might mimic that coppery-gold CA. What was the P.E. pigment? I'm thinking maybe Hot Cinnamon or Jasper Red? Maybe a mix of both because it seems more gold and a dash of copper? Please help!

OK so I used two PE pigments! My memory is awful lol! Interference gold and violet sparkle. The CA is Atelier Rich Gold. Just realised I didn't write the coppery colour in, it's a mixture of Pearlex Violet and Decoart Copper.
