I have both and prefer the PG3D by a mile, but the one main area the DX wins is the file names of the games. They're correct on the selection menu. The PG3D has a bunch of misnamed files and I have no idea why. Stuff like the NES Street Fighter rom hack is named "Street Tyrant," Marvel vs Capcom is something crazy like "Cartoon Superhero Battle." Lol I forget the exact title, but there's a bunch of wrong ones. Apparently you can change them, I just haven't sat down to figure out what everything is and what it should be.

I need HELP. I have a Pandora 9s treasure box 3D. no wifi. I don't think? it has the 4 thousand some games. but its missing die hard arcade. where as the pandora DX HD Has 5000 games including diehard arcade. so is the DX not as good as my 9s 3d? just with more titles? how to I get die hard on it? thats all I want. do I buy a jammer box or what do I do. my 9s 3d menu does NOT look like the 3d pandora in this video. IM SO LOST PLEASE HELP ME

i got a 3d wifi board some days ago and its in every aspect better then the dx. the games are running better.. no screen tearing.. more emulated systems.. the only thing i didnt like is that shmups are squished as fuck on 4:3 screens and it doesnt support tate. which is a real shame. but if you use the 3d on a 16:9 hd TV (where you can change the aspect ratio) the winner is clearly the pandora 3D. the DX would be a good choice for jamma arcade cabinets in the future

Mortal Kombat 1 on PBDX is laggy because 3A picked the wrong emulator. Add it to the roms_mame2003 folder and it will run just as perfectly as the PG3D. Same thing for the sound effects on Blood Bros, it will have all the sound and music if added to roms_mame2003.

PG3D is better because it supports PSP games and runs well, DX doesn't has psp support even no GBA support actually.....and PG3D WIFI version has the online game market can be download directly from the console , it's very convenient specifically for some DC, PSP and PS1 large games , you can pickup any of them you like in the game market and click the download button and play.... PG3D is the best one at this moment.

If we compare the Pandoras, the Pandora 3D is a lot better. More powerful and wifi support for downloading games. I paid 65 euros for the Pandora 3D with WiFi and case. The DX is a lot more expensive at the moment and does not come close to the 3D performance. Price quality ratio, the 3D is the winner. The DX is more comparable to the Pandora 6 than the Pandora 3D.

I got a Pandora Box DX for my Jamma Cabinet, Its really nice but some games like Metal Slug series have lagging issues, and games like Marvel Vs Capcom has sound issues and cant play 90-2000s Sega games. I bought a Pandora Games 3D and adaptor for Jamma, hoping I can jam Metal Slug as it was virtually unplayable on Pandora Box DX. Excited it also has Dreamcast support so I can get my arcade machine closest to a sega naomi system now.

Also is it just my DX or does it not run Altered Beast at all? If anyone has it, see if you can get past the first level. It just stops scrolling and enemies never leave the screen even after they die. It might just be a bad ROM file and need replaced.

Good video as ever WGC. I have the Pandora's Key 7 3D and it seems to be a clone of the Pandora Games 3D. It's a dual stick all in one and seems identical in the screen, menu, options etc bar the name being Key. Any idea of any differences between the two, chipset etc?. I have to say I find it runs almost everything sweet, much better than my little 5s Bartop arcade I have. Cheers.

killer instinct are only the n64 and snes version on it. and the n64 is not good emulation sadly.. mame fba neo geo cps2 arcade stuff is all perfect.

The PBDX can be used with VGA output and you can switch the resolution to 640x480. I do this with a VGA to HDMI cable to get 4:3 aspect to my TV.

But, my NBA Jam, NBA Jam Tournament Edition, and NBA Hangtime are SNES/Genesis ports. Do you have any idea why others have the arcade ports of these games and mine doesn’t?

All I know is NBA Jam (like Mortal Kombat) really takes a beefy processor to run full speed with full audio. When you try to run them on Hakchi, you can barely get them to go on the MAME versions.
