Synopsis:
Commonly known as the "Dungeon," the city of Orario possesses a huge labyrinth in the underground. Its strange name attracts excitement, illusions of honor, and hopes of romance with a pretty girl. In this city of dreams and desires, new adventurer Bell Cranel has his fateful encounter with the tiny Goddess Hestia.

Honestly, however amazing his fight against the Goliath was, there is some feeling of desperate and epic struggle in the Minotaur fight that cannot be repeated quite as easily. While on totally different scales, I enjoy the Minotaur fight more because of bell using his pure talent and force of will in a fast-paced, deadly battle with something far greater than him at that moment. The strike of the hero, however awesome, feels like it takes skill out of what Bell is doing, as it feels like the Goliath fight was mostly just Bell waiting on a cooldown to kill a big thing. It was epic, but I don't think it can reach that feeling of close-personal down to the wire epic combat that the Minotaur fight evoked. Just an opinion though, to each their own.

Cole Powers I totally feel you on that. In order to keep from making Bell's character unnecessarily OP, it'd actually be nice if they refrained from bringing it every time he's in a pinch or even incorporating ways in which it can be bypassed in a fight. Just my opinion though, nothing has quite topped the minotaur fight for sure

@@dl5641 he wasn't op though. The last hero move was a skill he earned way before. He didn't one shot Goliath, needed a second stab to break the crystal or Goliath would've regenerated in seconds. Also as you see to extend the skill to full body it required a crazy amount of time gained by his comrades. So I don't know where you guys see the Op. Of course he can't use full body skills when he goes to dungeons with Welf and Lili since the charging requires too much time and both of them aren't that much of great fighters to cover him up meanwhile. Also y'all forgetting that Goliath was hella weakened by all the troops there and Bell was severely injured at his first firebolt

Staff changed the bell vs dix fight totally nerfed it and I don't even need to say about bell vs aiz in the LN they both run around the city while fighting and the studio just made it into a two encounter fight and a TON of good scenes were missing in the anime like when hestia familia was transporting wiene to the xenos for the first time they skipped that entirely they even skipped how dix dies by the hands of asterios and the ganesha familia vs asterios

This is what made Season 1 so good. The music made especially for a specific scene, the more raw strenght/magic and techniques (instead of always his only one super op move) here he combined both of them and made the fight so epic vs Asterius. Its like watching a movie the whole season.

It's been 8 years. Season 4 just ended and we're waiting on Season 5, which is announced to begin next year. Bell Cranel has grown by leaps and bounds, truly earning his name Rabbit Foot. A hero-in-the-making. An unparalleled legend. The anime has gotten better with each episode. But every once in a while, I open up Season 1, Episode 8. I sit down, sip some warm coffee, and re-watch his first adventure.

@@biggai7061 nah bro he was good at the end, in fact he didn't one shot Goliath. He still needed his friends to protect him while charging the spell and the spell didn't even one shotted the monster, still needed a second stab on the crystal. He already had that power but when he was with his regular team he couldn't use it because 1. Monsters were too weak for all that energy 2. Requires time and both Welf and Lili aren't that skilled fighters.

This was probably the most epic moment/fight I have ever seen in any anime - While there probably longer or more dramatic fights... This one just does everything so welll.. It isn't over the top yet it makes you think you are invincible. The music is just so perfect, the emotions is perfect. The way Bell struggles and then despite this manages to come out victorious at the end is.. The minotaur fight is just a masterpiece..
