As a "Former' Metal Head ~~Elitist~~ from the Looong Ago 80's, I would nevah evah subscribe, or listen to ANYTHING by Babymetal or Electric Cowboy! Welcome back, great reaction. This is a fun song ... no surprises as Electric Callboy are good fun. This collaboration was actually BABYMETAL's idea - they were wanting to make a song that would be pure fun, one that people could dance along with like Electric Callboy's 'We Got The Moves' but they felt something was missing. They decided to ask EC if they would like to be involved so they went to see EC playing in Boston (they were both there at the same time last year) and met up backstage with them before the show. 'RATATATA' was the result. After a lot of back and forth and over 20 rewrites and variations etc they finally agreed on this final version. It is a straight 50-50 collaboration, but it is very much in the EC style.

I love ❤️ how BabyMetal present themselves. They all look so beautiful, sexy and attractive without the need of running around half naked. Their style is a mix of edgy, sweet, and goth, and they wear it beautifully 💯

Electric Callboy are the most entertaining & joyful band in the world right now, Germans have not put out a bad song in last 3 years and live shows just a massive rave of metal & EDM riffs!! 😆🤘

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 in Japan. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. There were many mosh / circle pits over there 🤣. On Day-1, the girls and Nico / Kevin hugged each other (then group hug) to celebrate the success of the live debut (heartwarming!!) ★ You can find the official LIVE video in KZbin !! Now the two bands are palying this song respectively with EC band in EC shows and with Kami Band in BM shows, in two ways. In addition they did it together on the same stage in three European festivals 💛。

Kevin wasn't the only one doing harsh vocals. Some of the ones near the end were done by Momometal. A 50/50 collab, video was produced by the Schillo Brothers, the EC video team. They have performed this several times at festivals, some with Nico and Kevin joining Babymetal and Kami band, some with the ladies joining the full EC band. Babymetal really liked the EC song We Got the Moves, the wanted to do a song like that and figured , why not ask Electric Callboy about collaborating.
