@@samruddhipatil8149 No.. i did the recipe exactly the same way Chef Sanjyot has done. Only thing you can change is strain all the ingredients after grinding them. Which will give you a very smooth and silky texture.

@samrinakhan hi samrina yes sugar is important to use as it gives a good balance to your dish. It balances the tangy taste you get from the tomatoes and the spiciness you get from the chillies and spices or if you don't want to use sugar you can substitute it with jaggery or honey.

I have tried this recipe at least 5 times now and it comes out fabulous every single time. I also tried a variation where I added mushroom and matar in place of paneer and its equally yummy. This takes about half hr to make and is perfect paneer recipe

I made this and the curry tasted bitter I had to add a lot of sugar to it, but I was wondering if I should fry the bay leaf and cinnamon stick for a few minutes and then remove it? I have no idea why the bitter taste was so strong. Can anyone help me?

The only difference between makhani and butter masala is tadka. For paneer butter masala tadka of onion and tomates are given before pouring the gravy whereas for makhni there is no such requirements

Shahi panner sweet hota hai ..usme cream bhi padta hai ..gravy chante bhi hai ..butter panner mai butter must hai ...panner bunna masala mai masale jayada roast kiya jata hai ...kadhai paneer mai soaf aur dhaniye ka bhna masala dala jata hai capcium bhi use karte hai ...texture aur masale ko bunne ka time se hi bahut fark padh jata hai

Thank you for the recipe. ❤ I made it today and it turned out great. Tips for my future self (others can kindly ignore): Add more oil while making the recipe Marinate the paneer in curd(dont add too much and dont add the water) and then cook it, keep the chunks a bit bigger so they dont crumble Grind the onions (after frying) as well for a smooth gravy Add 8 to 9 green small green chillies while grinding Add a spoonful of curd in the gravy and cook well Dont add garlic ginger(with the whole spices) while cooking the masala, give tadka with them after the curry is done Add kasturi methi while cooking the masala itself The measurements are on point- 4 tomatoes,3 onions 👍
