@@samruddhipatil8149 No.. i did the recipe exactly the same way Chef Sanjyot has done. Only thing you can change is strain all the ingredients after grinding them. Which will give you a very smooth and silky texture.

@samrinakhan hi samrina yes sugar is important to use as it gives a good balance to your dish. It balances the tangy taste you get from the tomatoes and the spiciness you get from the chillies and spices or if you don't want to use sugar you can substitute it with jaggery or honey.

I made it on my brother's birthday. Kya swaad bani thi. Really tasty and simple recipe. You can make in few steps really fast which is the best part. Agar mehmaan ane wale ho aur jyada time nhi hai and paneer banana hai toh yeh recipe best hai.

I have tried this recipe at least 5 times now and it comes out fabulous every single time. I also tried a variation where I added mushroom and matar in place of paneer and its equally yummy. This takes about half hr to make and is perfect paneer recipe

The only difference between makhani and butter masala is tadka. For paneer butter masala tadka of onion and tomates are given before pouring the gravy whereas for makhni there is no such requirements
