Panel Lights Eurorack Module Build

Oh that’s a niche you’ve filled with that module. I like all of your modules and so I find it difficult to settle on which one to buy. Have you ever thought about making a 5 volt breakout / usb from 5 volt module, with usb sockets so you could plug stuff in and charge phones? There are a lot of folks out there who have massive power that’s unused on their 5 volt rails and I’m surprised to not see many usb power from 5 volt modules out there. THANKS AGAIN FOR SHARING!!

With +12 and _12 also available, the risk of someone doing something wrong and frying their $1000 cell phone on a $25 module is too great. However, this does sound like a good video idea, to show people how to do it for themselves.

I'm honestly feeling a bit of a tendency towards ordering some pcbs for myself lately. I'm a fan of the modular electronics prototyping system called LittleBits, which have their design files open sourced on github. I have a friend who tells me that if I were to attempt to have LittleBits pcbs fabricated then I would save a ton of money over buying the modules. I'm uncertain as to the sources for having pcbs made, where should I have CAD files sent off to and these details that likely have a lot of trial and error involved. Is KiCad a good program to learn PCB design for a novice? Ill probably buy a drum module or two from you here within a few days. If you want / have any desire to aid a student, or maybe it would ease the burden of obtaining a bunch of boards, keep my contact info and let me know if you'd like for me to pitch in finance wise on that USB 5v breakout module. I've come into a small bit of economic stimulus which I would normally just throw at materials and a few components, anyways. I really appreciate that you make and upload videos to your channel, as I can see that you probably would have no trouble just dropping the videos, save the seldom praises from someone like me who finds quite an immense amount of education and inspiration in them.
