He would constantly throw racists insults and stereotypes about black people.. and very inappropriate jokes. It was really awkward.. and mostly everyone in the class didn't know how to react. Mary Khalimova Exactly. This is why I hate when people use that excuse of 'everybody does it.' Yes, everybody judges, dear. Thank you Tyra for bringing this body shaming moment to the for front. This panel and many others like them need a reality check. I'm glad you had them face the women they were judging. They make me sick. I'm so glad they had the chance to face those accusors.

One of the many reasons Tyra Show was so great was the audience. They always kept it real 😂 reactions, comments...everything was genuine

Why does Tyra invite people like that to her show? I feel like people like that should never be given a platform to speak at television. They promote bullying.

Glenn CoCo I feel she should've destroyed them more, and then got them to get over their hateful issues.

Glenn CoCo I agree. This episode is very Jerry Springer...

+Glenn CoCo exactly. tyra did these shows for ratings, like dr phil. it gets old and thats probably a part of why her show canceled.
@stephanietheteacher9 жыл бұрын
+Glenn CoCo That's a good question. I think Tyra has always been about showing the world in it's best shade of realistic. She knows these sorts of mentalities are not uncommon, people think and talk this way all the time, so she brings the issue to light to start a dialogue about it. I can appreciate that.
@glenncoco64429 жыл бұрын
Stephanie TheTeacher Hi Stephanie, I understand your point, but I just feel that if I was given a television platform, I'd rather invite activists, smart educated people, communitarian organization, for example, to talk about issues such as racism, gender equality, homophobia, sexuality, etc. I see what Tyra is trying to do, but I just think that if she is trying to show how ridiculous these people are, she should confronted them more, or at least create more of a debate. I love Tyra and the message she is trying to promote, I just think it could be done another way.

The homosexual black guy seriously confused me. He himself is very dark skinned, but judges the dark skinned man by saying "He's dark like a roach. He probably has no job." What?
@luzfigueroa15509 жыл бұрын
The black homosexual really pinched my last nerve he really has some self hate and came off so smudged wanted to slap him across his face him and his pink ass shirt someone should have said something about his sexuality and see how he likes it.
@villainsyndrome70869 жыл бұрын
that man wasnt very dark.. he is like a 3 shades darker than tyra. otherwise i agree with you. that man was acting very stupid
@maxinethomas88539 жыл бұрын
Hands Down In a way you cannot blame this young black man for is narrow mindedness sometimes its down to their social environment. It is commonly known a lot of black men do get women pregnant and leave them....He just needs to realize that not all black men are like that. There are a lot of people hold negative views towards marriage this sometimes effect the younger generation....
@NostalgiCrazy9 жыл бұрын
Hands Down Why do you assume he's homosexual and what does that have to do with anything?
@shannonx19549 жыл бұрын
Maxine Thomas You can blame him because he's sat there, point blank being shown he is no different to that man and is still being blatantly racist. He's old enough to exercise free will, and it is his choice at his age to be racist, not his socialisation.

It's hard enough to be a woman in this world, the last thing you need is another woman giving you a hard time cause of who u are. Ladies we're all on this journey of life together show some love stop the hate and ease the pain.

sorry to hear that. I gained weight due to medication. I was 125lbs all of my teen and adult life. 2yrs ago I was put on several medications at a time that have weight gain as a side effect. it eventually caused a metabolic syndrome. thankfully I am now off those meds. wish your family member the best.
