Hi...the plywood column is made of 3/4" thick plywood. The overlay stile and rail stock is 1/2" thick and the inset molding is 1/4" x 1/2". Thanks for watching, Wes

Hi Rajeev...for the applied stile and rail effect I used 1/2 " thick material. For the smaller interior step I used 5/16" thick. Thanks for watching. Wes
