Beautiful retrofuturistic art. I do hope that Rebellion winds up publishing these so that we Americans get a chance at these. The plot for this story reminds me a bit of the most recent Druuna by Serpieri.

9:00 Deus - Pocket Revolution Also, notice that most of the panels on the last pages of the last book weren't done by Don Lawrence, but by one of his pupils (don't remember his name) because I think Lawrence died before he could finish his book. (or at least he wasn't healthy enough to finish it himself)

+WaveOne11 Hehe, they start to re-publish Trigan on German right now. As soon I can get my copy of vol.1 it won't be long until I do a video about it, I promise.

is this stuff rendered in water color or acrlic and colored ink?All three perhaps? It reminds me a lot of Ron Embelton.GORGEOUS!
that's the only way as far as I'm concerned.I'm a comics illustrator making my money working on digital comics.All of which goes into my savings so that once the project is complete I can go into seclusion for six months and work on my own PEN AND INK AND BRUSH projects.Your library is cosmically stupendous!

"Nonsense" indeed.....these "Storm" stories don't compare to the early 70's issues of the "Trigan " picture book (hesitate to call them "comic strips" ) episodes.... Which drawing style looked a lot like the painting style of Frank Frazetta......opposed to these 80/90's 'hip' drawings.... Although I admit that has a lot to do with one's own memories, many current or even older readers will find these just as interesting......
@earlgrey8625 жыл бұрын
hmm... even if I don't share your opinion I somehow can see the point... but only artwise... the Storm stories in general and the "von Neumann machine" in particular are far better stories IMO anyhow, thanks for commenting and all props to your avatar: yeti from ADII is maybe my favorite krautrock-album ever!
