Genau richtig,studiere aktuell auch malwieder eingehender Druillets Bilder. Hab mittlerweile glaube ich alle Hefte bis auf Delirius 2,Chaos und Gail. Am besten gefällt mir Yragael und Urm the Mad muss ich sagen,auch wenn da der Farbdruck echt verwaschen aussieht (Glaub das hattest du in deinem Video dazu auch erwähnt) Titan soll mal seine Biographie übersetzen :D Schade dass es zu Druillet generell wenig übersetztes gibt,zumindest auf Englisch.Sehr Schade. Tolles Video wie immer,Grüßle !

Greetings from Texas. I've propping my Druillet books on my desk when I read certain science fiction novels, something I began doing years ago with Kirby's 2001 Space Odyssey and New Gods books. I've given away Lone Sloane books to fellow readers, as well as The Leaning Girl, and not one has either read or enjoyed them. I thought they'd like them, given their tastes, but I was wrong. Yet they all like Saga.

Yes, I clicked right away 🙋🏽‍♂️. Was waiting for this, you know 😜. Great review. I find the first two books (the 6 voyages & delirius) the best ones. I love that they are just simple stories and easy to follow. I was hoping this one would be a throwback to those books, and the beginning of Delirius 2 is really great. We see Yearl and there is worldbuilding. But in the end the story thats a backseat and it goes back to “what is going on” territory. In the end its a good read, way better than Salammbo and it’s spiderweb bible texts, but I was hoping for a simpeler story. Well, guess I had my hopes up to high 😊. I also dont understand why in some pannels the art is….so loose. Like its not finished. You showed this in the review.

Absolutely love Druillet’s work. I have the Dutch editions that were published by Sherpa and fortunately they released the books in large format (25 x 35 cm). I’m not really sure but I assume that the German and English editions in your video are about the same size as the Sherpa editions?

nope the German edition of Delirius is a tiny bit bigger... or rather: it is as big as yours while the Titan one is about 32,5 x 24,5cm

I was waiting for this book so long, but it was a bit disappointing... the first part of the story (i guess which was completed by Lob) was really cool, but later it really turns into a mess. The art quality is also mixed, to say the least. I expected something more memorable. But, its a part of my Druillet library, nevertheless. Maybe some reread will help.

Ich suche ja schon laenger die Lone Sloane 6 Reisen vom Avant Verlag. Leider vergriffen und auch im Antiquariat nicht zu bekommen. Ich befuerchte das wird noch ein teurer Spass ;)

das freut mich für den Avant Verlag, dass sie dann anscheinend doch den wohlverdienten Erfolg hatten (auch wenn die Auflage vermutlich nicht sehr hoch gewesen ist). Für Dich ist's natürlich nicht so toll... vielleicht doch auf die englische Version ausweichen?
