He didn't move for money, Liverpool have rubbished the claims they've broken their wage structure. Rio also refused Chelsea when they offered double what liverpool were offering. He literally wants Liverpool because of our academy not money.

Chelsea had one of the best club models in the world under Roman. They were stacked with talented youngsters and had a strong core of academy graduates in first team. Since Eghbali/ Clearlake/ Boehly arrived they have stripped the cupboard bare.... Just to list a few who were sold Mount,Gallagher, Livramento, Hall, Angelo, Maatsen,Hudson Odoi, Gilmore.... all sold to finance their spending spree on internationals & protect their PSR position. Not to mention Chukwuemenka and Ben Chilwell are not practicing with first team and there is still chatter about selling Noni Madueke. Rio left Chelsea because he didn't want to play an NPC role in Eghbali's FM24 IRL Chelsea Edition.

i think that will be virtually impossible at the moment as there isnt much coverage of it , however , from what has been said there is more meetings than under klopp , klopp worked on counter press , klopp and pep were first pass forward and if you lose the ball its ok , its also ok to leave your position and press and its up to those who are not part of the 5 men pressing to fill in gaps in the shape because if we won the ball its often 5 on 5 and a scoring opportunity , slott is keep the ball and dont do the risky pass that may give the ball away and also seems much more emphasis on how the opponent plays especially how they press and where that will leave space and how to maximise that , slott appears to press in stages 2 then 3 then 4 which means its easier to keep a defencive shape and its more about forcing a long ball from the oppos and then winning the duel and 2nd ball to regain possession . the training sessions will be all these things broken down into small parts , it also appears they are very big on player loads even in training whereas klopp was more "pain is just a feeling" . that appears to be the differences between the two from the little i have noticed so far . panenka could maybe use some pre season training coverage to show that but he has already done that with how liverpool are doing build up from the back and the up back and through 3rd man run clips to be fair to him .

Nah mate. We've held our own in history. A quote "There are two great teams in Liverpool, Liverpool and Liverpool reserves" said by a legendary manager before Barcelona even hit it big says a lot. Liverpool reserves(U21 u19 u18 etc) has their own heritage. I'm not demeaning La Masia, theY are amazing, I give full respect, but Liverpool are not English La Masia. We are our own.

Am a liverpool fan, but he definitely moved for the money or maybe he has a desire to play for the club. A talent like him would have broke into the first team regardless of what team he plays for.
@TheTruthTeller992 ай бұрын
No, the money stuff is false. Liverpool didn't break their structure for him. Also, Rio refused Chelseas final offer of doubling what Liverpool had offered.
@garymckeon5410Ай бұрын
@ksp3281 no one joins liverpool for the money lol anyone who believes we pay more money than chelsea, utd, or city in wages is living in cloud cuckoo land . whats happening here is the obvious outcome of chelseas business model of buying players and putting them on huge long term contracts and then treating them like shit when they are no longer required , just look at sterling and chillwell who have been covered in media but there will be many of them not covered , that will be influencing some of the youngsters there , it nearly happened with the young CB colwill a season or so ago aswell

Kind of weird including Bobby Clark, considering he's been sold. You could've used some more relevant examples. Also not exactly factually correct to say that this kid has has been touted as the next big thing in English football. He is a great prospect. Not the greatest prospect. No need to gas him up. Are Chelsea supporters really angry? There really is no reason to sensationalize the information. Otherwise great video. I hope you appreciate the constructive feedback.

Why can't he chase money? Not like he's going to Saudi or China. I don't get why that's a negative when all other factors are the same. If Liverpool offer more money it's because they value him more than Chelsea does. Just lazy media and lazy Chelsea finding some morale ground to criticize a 16 year old. Chelsea of all clubs shouldn't be complaining about money spent. If you get a raise at work or offered a new job with 50% raise, are you supposed to turn that down because you're a nice person?
