Panerai Luminor Submersible PAM 024 Dive Watch Review

Back in the ‘00s, I took several gunfighting classes under Scott Reitz, a retired LAPD SWAT officer, who rocked a Panerai Luminor Submersible. In another class, I met a LAPD SIS detective, who also rocked a Panerai Luminor Submersible. These two individuals were apex officers in their respective assignments, leading me to believe in the mystique of Panerai and leaving me pining for one. I looked all over Southern California for the PAM024, but to no avail. One day, I was in the area of an AD in the San Gabriel area and decided to pop in to see what they had. Lo and behold, they had, but only one Panerai in the entire case: a PAM024. I didn’t buy it right then and there though. I told the salesperson that I had to sleep on it, and I returned to a nearby tea house, where I told my awaiting friend of my find. With a devilish grin, he commented, “You’re gonna’ buy that watch!” 😈

I owned a submariner 16610 and Pam 24. Both are nice in a different way.
