Great video thanks! most of the footage is from "the silent enemy" highly fictionalised and historically wrong 1958 movie depicting the British as the goods and Italians as the evils besides the British didn't find out about the ship Olterra (used by the Italians as secret commando mothership) until Italian armistice in 1943 basically the opposite of what is told in the movie, furthermore British weren't able to carry out any operation until the Italians collaboration after the armistice. But as they say history is written by the winners..

Thanks mate, amazing history and such brave frogmen, I know that sometimes the water was so murky even the large panerai with bright radium lume was hard to see in front of their faces. Cheers
