Truly classic watches, I first fell in love with the brand when i was stationed in Naples and Rome. I am a Marine and combat diver(Force Recon) I appreciate the rich history of this brand as it's similar to the precepts of the Corps, I own the PAM423 and it is willed to my son already, lets hope he too will cherish this timeless classic. Cheers to all!

PAM000 was gasp for air, stop my heart, love at first sight. I couldn’t get myself to pull the trigger until a year or two later - thinking that is a lot of money for a 2-hander. When I finally did I bought on the 112 (I) mainly because of the sandwich dial. Probably my favorite detail of the watch. The design and details are just unbelievably so well proportioned and spot on. Also I love winding it hearing and feeling the clicks. Yes These are the reasons why such a simple watch is so beautiful 😍

Great video, Josh. I've been a fan of the brand since the late 90s. But for one reason or another, I still don't own one. The models I like are either too large for me, are missing some detail that a Panerai should have, or include something a Panerai shouldn't. So, I've focused on other brands over the years but always keep an eye out for that "perfect" Panerai (for me).
@the1916company5 жыл бұрын
What are the elements of your perfect Panerai? Radiomir or Luminor? California or sandwich dial? Small seconds? Other complications? --Team WatchBox
@DanteMiami5 жыл бұрын
@@the1916company My favorite model line has changed over the years. I first liked the Radiomir and would have gotten the PAM00062, with a 40mm case and Zenith movement, if it had a sandwich dial (a must!). The 42mm PAM00141 was another contender, with Zenith movement, but, again, no sandwich dial and I wasn't sure about the silver small seconds sub-dial. Then the 42mm PAM00338 came out, with sandwich dial and no date (preferred), but I wasn't sure about the rose gold hands over the standard (greenish) lum and titanium case. So, I started looking at the Luminor because I thought the OP I add to my collection should have that iconic crown guard. But most are too wide or thick for my wrist or have busy dials (PAM00688) or insufficient water resistance (PAM 00728). So, now I'm looking at the 42mm Radiomir 1940s and, in particular, the new PAM00933. What do you think?
