Because of the dubbing, it looks like a parody.. Even though I don't understand any Russian at all, I think it would be better to watch it in the original language, with subtitles. (lol, this got some upvotes)

Too be honest, i liked the teaser where they talked russian over this british dub. It felt more right when the movie about a squadron(?) of russians in russia with russian actors talked well... russian. Other than that, nice trailer

Most unit in wartime did not attain "theoretical strength" in term of manpower, shortage of men is common thing. This story of 28 Guardsmen is what left of a rifle company. Which is reasonable.

I'm not sure if this is a sarcasm or not, but German did put Third Reigh flag on top of their tanks on battle field, so their air force would not mistake them with enemy tanks or armor unit and bomb them.

Visually pretty stunning - I'd have to pause and stare pretty intently for a while to figure out whether I'm looking at real or CG stuff, and even then I might get it wrong. It looks like there's some impressive kit on display here. Russian sometimes translates weirdly into English, but I liked this dub and I think they picked good voice actors. I gotta get me a copy so I can watch both language versions.

I don't know about German and Italian tankettes, but the Soviet BT-5 and T-26 did not suffer too much from it. In Finland, the successful use of the Molotov cocktail is largely due to the fact that the conditions for using tanks there are worse than in Spain. That is why the Finns were not eager to build or buy many tanks.

My great-grandfather was in the infantry and died * twice * in the same battalion where the 28 panfilovtsev were stationed. This battalion fought against a half division of the Wehrmacht (1000 soviets vs 6000 germans). He fell two times, because he was registered as a death the first time, but then he was only seriously injured and moved to the hospital back to the front. Unfortunately, then he really died and it has not changed until today that he only died once. This battalion has a proper name from "Von Bock" (a German commander who fought against this division (or Battalion), calling it "The Wild Division." In one of these battalions, my great-grandfather fought and died against an overwhelming number of Germans Soldiers in the Novgorod region "Holm".

Already seen it in in original voices, only Eng sub no Dub, a very good war movie, don't expect it to be historial accurate, most of the war movies were never accurated. But still good to watch
